All you have once again shown Robert is you ahve no clue how pdfs and their layers work

...
Further, the conditions aren't met here: the PDF was not created with Adobe tools. What sort of PDFs are exported from InDesign? Do they look like the Obama PDF? Do you know? I do.

Do you have access to the tools that were used to create the Obama birth certificate file that was distributed? Is it possible that you could print out the on-line Obama birth certificate and scan it in using the tools that you have available and create something similar to the source PDF file?

I am unclear on a few facts about this.

1. Could the PDF file have been created entirely automatically after the tool to create the file was set up with the appropriate parameters?

2. Apparently the PDF file in question had a single layer with different object groups. Is it possible to create a PDF file that has more than one layer?

For the purpose of upholding the Constitution.

Then when he presented it to whomever vets candidates at the Democratic National Convention, and failing that when the registrar of Hawaii went, "I have reviewed the original and the .pdf is an accurate copy." it was upheld.

A theoretical question is theoretical. And simple.

Well, no. There's nothing about "theoretical questions" that make them inherently simple. In fact, I'd say they're often more complex than straightforward questions. A theoretical question could force the person being asked to assume quite a lot of things about the theoretical situation created by the theoretical question.

Besides that, I find that most people asking "theoretical questions" are looking for oversimplified answers.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Same goes for this guy. Look familiar?

I think it might be a Kennedy CTist or a Birther, but I can't be sure, as his head is usually stuck somewhere else ;)

So Robert when are you going to armed revolt to 'uphold the constitution', we're all waiting ya know, lol

Some other fun thoughts:

Why not get together a 2,000,000 or so of those counterfeit (lol) US dollars and bribe one of the clerks in Hawaii?

Why not get an armed group to storm the building and secure the document....but then you're not actually serious about all this, now are you Robert?

lol, you don't know how to debate but you sure make a funny troll

Yes I asked him earlier if he checked his DNA and his own birth certificate to see if it is forgery....ya know his parents might not be whom they claim.....

Guys just a reminder you're not having a reasonable discussion with gentleman on a subject of interest. You're dealing with a troll, don't expect him to act like anything other than a troll!

I find it interesting how he doesn't really try to strawman the more technical posts, just handwaving instead.

No. Perhaps you've seen him recently.

In your mirror.

Argumentum ad farcimen [argument to sausage] is a commonly used fallacy among those at the political extremes - especially when they cannot counter the facts.

It is often, but not always, followed by Reductio ad Hitlerum.

Argumentum ad farcimen is often accompanied by Argumentum ad why do you hate Americium.

This is a strawman argument. Nobody has argued that the clause gives the states license to commit fraud.

You are claming that Hawaii has committed fraud, but have supplied no (zero, none, nada) evidence for this.

Except for Sheriff Joe's 1200 replication tests.

Except for Sheriff Joe's 1200 replication tests.

What? Would they be the tests that the 'experts' could probably replicate with their own Birth Certificates?

Have you tried it yourself, or are you afraid the results will undermine your argument?

One of the 'experts' RP likes to use is Ivan, and took exeption to the final paragraph being quoted in full, as if it was being manipulated by the those who believe in the fact that BHOII is a natural born citizen.

All of the modifications to the PDF document that can be identified are consistent with someone enhancing the legibility of the document.

A strike against the Birthers. Just because the WH want to make things clear, it becomes tampering.

It is possible that in addition to enhancing the legibility of the
document that the content of the document was also changed.

The expert claims that it "It is possible" that the document was changed. Yes, a possibility, but not a certainty. Nor does it mention deliberate tampering - it says that making the document more legible changed the content.

There is no specific evidence of how or why that content would have been changed,

No 'smoking gun', no cut and dried evidence. It is still in the realm of "possible".

but the evidence clearly indicates that the document was
changed .

Enhancement 'changes' the document. Even scanning changes the document.

And then, to the parting words:

The forgoing report set forth my opinions as truthfully and accurately as possible for the time allotted and based on the materials available.

My opinion is based on 'bang per Buck'. Based on what he was paid for. Boiling it down, there are two conclusions that can be drawn from this report.

It's real, or it's fake.
