Are the crucifixion nails of Jesus in Europe?

“Pasiong Mahal” in pages 203-204 says that the four nails are at Karpentas (I think, Carpentras, France); Milan, Italy; Rome, Italy; and Paris, France. The first nail, in Carpentras, is called Clavo Santo. The second nail is in a church in Milan, brought by San Carlos when he went and visited the place. The third was put in a diadem of Emperor Constantine by his mother, Saint Helen. Saint Helen asked that the fourth nail be thrown at the Adriatic Sea to calm the storm that hit the city (maybe of Rome) which caused so much devastation. According to the experts (“doktos”), that nail did not sink and ended up in Paris, France in a Temple of Saint Dionysius.

What relation would Rome have had with the Adriatic and St Helene? Anyway, I have a feeling that reference to a nail turning up in a temple of St Dionysius in Paris is a corruption of the story of st Piato:
http://theblackcordelias.wordpress.com/2009/10/01/san-piato-october-1/

An alternative destination for one of the nails was Monza:

Notes 8 and 10.

Oh, dear.
The nail relics at Milan and Carpentras both claim to be the legitimate nail which was formed in into a bridle for Constantine's horse:
http://www.cogwriter.com/news/church-history/crucifixion-nail-found/
...The bridle of Constantine is believed to be identical with a relic of this form which for several centuries has been preserved at Carpentras, but there is another claimant of the same kind at Milan. ...
Unfortunately for KA's reliability, it's a case of either/or, not both in the case of the relics in Carpentras and Milan.
PC, Do you see the problems with taking and 18th century devotional poem as history, even if a fake medium claims it's true?

I've learned there's a nail relic in El Escorial, built by none other than Philip II.
So we come full circle, back to the Philippines.

PC, it's clear KA was simply ratifying an error in the 18th century devotional used in the Holy Week.
Yet another fail for KA's mediumship.

I have read your link to the Catholic Encyclopaedia.

The spirit who gave the prophecies said that there were four nails instead of three <snip> “Pasiong Mahal” in pages 203-204 says that the four nails are at Karpentas (I think, Carpentras, France); Milan, Italy; Rome, Italy; and Paris, France.

If you want to stop a storm in the Adriatic from hitting Rome, any old nail will do, or even one of Jesus' spare foreskins. Because the Adriatic is to the east of Italy, and Rome is in the west, separated from the Adriatic by the entire width of Italy, and a range of quite high mountains.

Hey, Cheesy One, welcome to the fora. I noticed your location: Hahaha. Limburger or roquefort? :)

Thank you! Hello yourself. :D It depends on where you go, for example the Great Crater of Gouda but most of the dark side is limburger. :)

Another wee problem I see is that even if there where authentic, Jesus approved, relics out there is that as far as I know we have no DNA or reference samples to compare with or identify. Which kinda makes this whole thing a moot point.

Maybe Jesus was a little obese hence the extra nails and copius bits of true cross from re-enforcing.

He's a religious nutter would be my guess
But that would mean when he starts threads by asking a question, he really thinks that we will be flummoxed by the question and therefore brought one step closer to Christianity.

I guess I am focusing too much on the religious part and not enough on the nutter part.

I know I am wasting my time but please feel free to explain how you "logically" arrived at 4 when you yourself state the first two only used 3?

Because apparently the Romans liked to subject crucifixion victims to the additional embarresment of being strung up like a chorus line???

I have 2 first century Roman nails , about a metre from where I sit. I don't think they've been used though. You can generally recognise used nails. Bent and blunt.

Well, what with all of the other myths that were thrown into Jesus' life to make it more authentic, it was nearly inevitable that 'the many headed hydra' would make an appearance too.

He must have had a Gatling gun type penis.:jaw-dropp

Why on earth would soldiers who are killing convicted criminals by nailing them to crosses give a toss about symmetry?

You've used some pretty absurd arguments to make your mad woman's pronouncements appear plausible, PC, but this one must be the most ridiculous yet.

The arguments that I use are plausible. Otherwise, I would doubt it, even it came from Ama. Do not take everything ‘hook, line, and sinker’. Be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Ask. “Asking questions is the way to knowledge.” ("Ang pagtatanong ay daan ng pagdunong.")

Did you know that the Pharisees hate Jesus so much? Jesus called them vipers, Gentiles, hypocrites. So they exacted revenge when they captured and crucified Him. So in the crucifixion, Jesus was in the center, they made it symmetrical. Also, I think, they pierced Jesus with a nail to each of His feet to make it more painful.

Do you know where they crucified Jesus? It is not in the supposed crucifixion site in the north but near the “Dung Gate” in the south is, in the rubbish tip of the city, near where the Jewish cemetery is. They crossed the Kidron Valley. And it did not take them a few hours to get there. It took them three days to walk the route which is only about three kilometers long.

Is there now some evidence Jesus actually existed? As for the rest of the magical properties, no it's the usual garbage believes in only by the desperately credulous.

Yep. He seems to need to believe.

Given the relative scarcity of metal they'd have been reused, after sharpening, or recycled by a smith.

Other than your own beliefs do you intend to support this assertion?

How could you have more than a billion Christian people believe in Jesus? It must have been started somehow, sometime, somewhere? And it started some 2000 years ago. How about 3000 years ago, during the time of King Solomon, were there Christians already?

It may just be like Martin Luther (1483-1546). Was there what is called the Protestant Reformation before the 16th century AD?

Do you only believe what your eyes can see? Please broaden your minds. Is it logically correct? I ask you, can you see Rwanda? Does it exist? Be scrutinizing. Be discerning. Ask. “Asking question is the way to knowledge.” (“Ang pagtatanong ay daan ng pagdunong.”)

How could so many more people *not* believe in Jesus? When islam is bigger than christianity, will that suddenly mean that the koran is correct in every detail?

It is a really *bad* idea to judge the truth of something by the number of people who believe it.

BTW, why was Jesus' crucifixion symmetrical?

Otherwise, I would doubt it, even it came from Ama.

No, you wouldn't. You've demonstrated that again and again, despite all the failed prophecies and all the failed revelations.

You've invested too much time and money on that fraud's lies, and you will never reject her. You would rather lie to us, and to yourself.

Could you explain why Roman soldiers would do such a thing?

The verses were composed in the 18th century, adopted from devotional works, placed into a metric used in the Philippines and sung non-stop during hours.
This sort of practice can lead to trance and, of course, faking trances.
I wonder if this wasn't where KA got her start.

I find the use of a Catholic devotional text with the KJV fascinating.

But back to the OP.
4 nails found by St Helene- where did they end up?
And why does KA claim "Karpentas, Rome, Milan, and Paris"? Because that's what the “Awit at salaysay ng Pasiong Mahal” says?
Off to browse.

The Roman soldiers upon the request of the Pharisees made the crucifixion of Jesus symmetrical. Please read my answer to Pixel42 on message 94.

Do you still believe that Ka Apaz was faking the spirit of Ama? Please read my post to Astreja in “Will the 2012 Olympic Games in London be held?” after message 3910.

According to “Awit at Salaysay ng Pasiong Mahal”, the nails ended up at Carpentras, France; Milan, Italy; Rome, Italy; and Paris, France. Carpentras may be the correct name of the place instead of Karpentas in the “Pasion”. Since there are forumers who may be living there in Europe, they may go where the supposed nails are and report here the results of their mission.

Do you still believe that Ka Apaz was faking the spirit of Ama?

No, your compelling logic has turned me into a believer. Oh wait, my mistake, it hasn't.

There is not a shred of plausibility in anything this desiccated hag has said or claimed. More fool you for being too gullible to accept this.
