The point is the same as exposing a conspiracy to murder the President of the United States -- a personal but patriotic crusade against brainwash.

So you've cast yourself in the role of "hero" in this little "crusade"?

...and you're going to "protect" us from brainwashing?

There is nothing "patriotic" about lying in an attempt to unseat a legally elected President...fact is, I'd call that a definition of treason.

The others had a documented past. Obama has no past -- all expunged from the record.

Now this is a major problem, Robert. we're not going to concede any of your garbage, because it simply is not true.

If you feel you must lie to "make your point", then what does that say about the credibility of your ideas??

No, and while only speaking for myself, I am certain that if the issuing authority says the document is saying the document is accurate then it is accurate.

Using your example of "The Hilter Diaries", if Adolph was able to verify the accuracy of the diaries they'd be accurate.

Mr Prey so far you have proved nothing at all other than you do not understand legal process, the constitution of the USA, how expert evidence works and how pdfs are created.

I understand that lying is routine and common with any government -- especially a criminal government. But it takes a population of mindless sheep for them to get away with it.

But you are not convinced to the degree of 100 percent certitude, and if you are not convinced to that degree, why not just say so?

I never said I was, and I never said I wasn't.

Because I don't have to say. The only thing that matters is what the State of Hawaii says.

And they say it's real.

So anyone who doesn't agree with you is a "mindless sheep"?

Do you think that insulting anyone who doesn't agree with you will somehow give your arguments validity?

I'm sorry, but then one must conclude that you yourself are not totally convinced that the document is authentic. That's OK. Neither is Jay. So that must leave the door open for the possibility even in your own mind, that the document is a fraud.

Why do you continue to attempt to "put words" in other posters mouths? Words they did not say.

Do you think that by misrepresenting what others post, it somehow gives your argument more validity?

Does this mean you are not one hundred percent certain the document is fake????

It is an interesting aspect of the human condition that knowing that anything is absolutely true may not be possible. We can however approach practical certainty about quite a few things if we make assumptions that the world is pretty much as it seems to us and our ability to draw correct conclusions based on a reasoned analysis of the evidence is not distorted in some way that is undetectable to us.

I believe that the evidence and analysis that supports the view that Obama was born in the US is correct to a level of proof that closely approaches practical certainty. I would vote to convict somebody of murder based on the level of belief that I have that Obama was born in the US.

It is also an interesting aspect of the human condition that many people allow strongly held views to distort their view of reality. Birtherism is a perfect example of that phenomena. The quality of the evidence that has been put forth to support the notion that Obama wasn't born in the US is laughable and the birthers would easily reject it in most situations where they are not so emotionally connected. But given their anti-Obama hysteria they can easily be manipulated to believe absolute nonsense.

So now your argument has degenerated into sophistry and parsing what "is" means?
