If you say so; you clearly pay more attention to Ms. Winfrey than I do. But your statement is factually incorrect; President Obama was elected by over sixty-nine million Americans, about 53% of the total vote.

I have no use for those who can't get over their hatred for a particular President to the point they try to pretend he's not somehow "real". George W. Bush was elected in 2000 in a close vote that required a Supreme Court ruling to settle the results; that meant he was President, but there were quite a few who tried to delegitimize him. They were wrong then; the birthers are wrong now. The difference is that the birthers also believe one of the most idiotic conspiracy "theories" ever - not because it has any evidence for it, or even makes a lick of sense, but because it fits their worldview.

Again, I maintain that the answer to "stupid" (or outdated) laws or Constitutional provisions is to change them, rather than just pretend they don't exist. To ignore certain provisions of the Constitution merely because some find them unfair or or outdated is to set a very bad precedent, IMO.
