Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

One of his problems is that every time he finds a nice safe place to hide he realises that no one is paying him any attention.


One of the others may perhaps be illustrated thusly:

Reporter- Good evening, I'm Serious Media Person and with me tonight is bum and laughable conman Robert Menard. Mr Menard, perhaps you'd like to take the opportunity afforded by this national media platform to explain your beliefs and philosophy in a sane and rational manner...

RM- Certainly Serious, but first I just have to move this inexplicably large blunderbus I keep in my pants ... BANG! ... crap, not again.

I suspect that Rob secretly wishes he could afford to travel to, and live in, America where he could get hold of guns, live in a hut and stock up on tinned food and colloidal silver whilst wearing camouflage gear.

I sense that Menard plays on the kind and gentle nature of Canadian society (which, btw, I dearly love) and its tolerant police force.

I am reminded of the video, which JB I think posted, of Menard drunkenly walking up to a Canadian cop spouting stuff about freemanism.

The cop calmly said he agreed with some of what Menard had said. . .then it seemed to me that Menard, realizing he was on the verge of a filmed public drunkenness arrest, just shut up and walked away.

You can compare that to freeman posted videos of U.S. state highway troopers cuffing U.S. freeman over the hoods of police cars and carting them off to jail.

I don’t think Menard could handle U.S. freemen who shoot cops, or their psycho little culture. These boys are dangerous bunch who express their hatred with violence and fire arms. They are the philosophical brothers of white supremacists, the KKK, Nazis and skin heads. Bobby couldn’t handle that. His game is duping freeman wannabes out of part of their government checks, not shooting it out with the cops.

Agreed, Menard doesnt have the stomach to stand up to the authourities, even with all his "Wolverine" bravado.
All mouth and no trousers.
His mouth on the other hand could convince someone else to do it, there are a few loose cannons on WFS he could quite easily manipulate.

I think this is something those of us lucky enough to have tend to take for granted.

I saw a most amusing, if slightly off topic illustration of this on a documentary recently. UK teenagers are accustomed to getting very drunk and behaving very badly towards police officers without any real consequences save for having their alcohol confiscated and being taken home to their parents. On a Spanish Island holiday they behave much the same. One particular girl was very drunk, very sweary and decided that the usual drunk teenage girl pushing was the way to deal with a Spanish officer. Not being British or Canadian and not accepting disrespect from children he gave her a harmless but definite clip around the ear. Her reaction of bursting into tears and stomping her feet like a six year old was most telling.

Every time I read his stuff I feel inspired to write a three-act farce.

As tempting as it is to write a comedy about our favourite conmans escapades...

I think he's done a tremendous job of that himself.

And I think even his most loyal marks see this now.

Ten years of being laughed at. For a 'comedian' that should be an accolade.
Unfortunately for Wolverine he has wasted a decade being laughed at, rather than with.

I always found that video funny. Getting someone with mental issues to back up your idiotic claims is not big or clever however.

That's Lance before being conned out of $800 and getting locked up thanks to Menard.

But yes. To spend over ten years documenting your own stupidity is a truly :jaw-dropp thing to do.
