I don't recall receiving a supportive email with such a pronounced religious perspective before.
Dear Mr. Lancaster:
Your website was nothing short of a Godsend! Like many others, I began reading Sylvia Browne's Book, "The Other Side and Back", and was at first caught up by the hope that my questions would be answered. Thankfully through my religious upbringing I began to get suspicious when I visited her website which tiggered something I was taught about "Beware of False Prophets". She is a good example of what a False Prophet is! She reminds me of a wolf in sheep's clothing, a circus master, running a three ring circus..she feeds on the weak, the sick and many like myself that have lost loved ones. We all want the security of knowing they are in heaven and at peace, believing that somehow this would give us the much needed reassurance we crave in our darkest moments, or knowing what we can expect in our futures. Everyone desires a look into the future, including myself.
God has given us the holy scriptures, especially the book of Psalms to comfort us during those moments. He has also given us the most glorious examples of selfless devotion and aiding those in need such as Mother Teresa, and many others who we may have personally witnessed doing his work. He sent his son to die for us, and as Jesus lay dying on the cross, he said to his father, "Forgive them for they know not what they do." When I think of that, I find myself getting angry that Sylvia Browne knows exactly what she is doing. She teaches her son to take advantage of people, no matter what the cost and give nothing back...But, "Vengeance is mine" said the Heavenly Father, which is more comforting to me right now knowing she will be held accountable on Judgement Day.
I found it interesting that she ONLY conducts seminars in Casino's, I don't remember being taught anything in the scriptures where that was considered a temple or church of sorts. She smokes, which is against keeping her body as a temple for the Holy Spirit, and that she wants us to believe that there is a Mother and Father God! That is sacralidgeous! The money that she makes from everything she offers to do for people, to 'help them', how much I wonder did she freely donate to the hungry, the poor, homeless or any such outreach programs? She is currently offering a retreat to one of her favorite spa's to spend 4 days with her listening to more of her sugar coated lies for a few thousand dollars, and the sad fact is there will be people that will take advantage of it in search of spiritual guidance. My heart aches for all of them drawn in by her and her son!
We are placed here on earth for reasons that are only known to the Heavenly Father and lessons we have to learn before we are all reunited in Heaven. The only spiritual guide that he gives us besides the Bible, I believe, is that 'moment of intuition', or, that 'little voice' that speaks to us when something is wrong or about to happen. Everyone has it, but sadly, not every one's is as loud as others. I could go on and on, but I think it best to have people visit your site and read the many letters of what she's done...It truly speaks louder than I ever could.
Again, let me offer my sincerest, heartfelt thanks to you for the kindness your doing for so many by exposing a dangerous fraud! My only hope for the future is discovering that she is no longer allowed to continue, her assets are frozen and the money is returned to it's rightful owner.
May God Bless you and your family!
