Because Obama writes that he was born in Hawaii right in the very book that you say Obama was trying to hype by pretending he was born in Kenya! Don't you think that anyone who bought the book because they thought it was written by a Kenyan-born author would
notice that little discrepancy?
Not to mention the fact that, at the
very same time you think Obama was supposedly pretending to be born in Kenya to boost his memoir sales and could have told Harvard he was born in Kenya in order to get in, he was
telling multiple major newspapers that he was born in Hawaii.
The publishing industry pamphlet was published in 1991. On February 6, 1990, the New York Times published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. On February 7, 1990, the Chicago Tribune published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. On February 8, 1990, the Washington Post published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. On May 3, 1990, the Chicago Daily Herald published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. In Fall, 1990, Columbia Today published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. In January 1993, Chicago Magazine published an article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. On February 10, 1993, the Chicago Tribune published another article about Obama saying he was born in Hawaii. On August 7, 1995, the Los Angeles Times published a review of Obama's memoir saying he was born in Hawaii.
Don't you think
Harvard might have noticed that little discrepancy? Especially considering that most of those articles stating that Obama was born in Hawaii were about Obama being selected as the President of the Harvard Law Review?
If this was a scam on Obama's part, it was the worst scam
ever.
