The thing about all the birther oriented stuff is that everything old is new again for them. No conspiracy theory regardless of how stupid and easily debunked it is is beyond being tossed out there in an argument.

The thought that a literary agency, handling many authors might make a mistake in their research is beyond the realm of possibility to the birthers.

Well at least we can look forward to this getting merged into the larger Obama CT thread.

This is the essence of debating with any CT, no matter the flavor of woo. After enough time passes, the same old arguments will inevitably resurface, as though they were never debunked. Our own dear OP is intimately familiar with this process.

They are running out of excuses to hate Obama. Pretty soon it will be numerology and blood types.
 
How about numerology of blood types.

Type AB (based on a lack of research)
A=1
B=2
Ergo AB =1*2=2
A+B=3
3*2=6

I also just decided that both Obamas parents are tye AB too meaning the blood types are 6, 6, and 6.
Obama=666 what more made up pile of offal do you sheeple need!

This is a very important discovery. i would like to put it on Youtube, but I am afraid it will go viral.
 
I apparently am the only one that thought this, which probably means I don't have a clue about what is going on here, but I thought the opening post was a parity of Harry Reid's attacks on Romney for not paying any taxes.

Reid claims Romney didn't pay any taxes to theoretically put him between a rock and a hard place: If Romney releases his tax returns whatever bad stuff lurks their comes out and if Romney doesn't he doesn't have a very good response to what is probably Reid bogus crap.

Or in this case Root claims miscellaneous bad stuff that Obama's transcripts would reveal and Obama is put between a rock and a hard place: If Obama releases his college transcripts whatever bad stuff there is revealed and if Obama doesn't he doesn't have a very good response to Root.

There are several problems for Root that will likely make his strategy not as successful as Reid's strategy is: The first of which is that Root appears to be a bit of nut job that not that many people have heard of. The second is that while Obama's Columbia transcripts might be grist for the partisan conservative anti-Obama world, that world isn't going to vote for Obama anyway and the rest of the country doesn't give a crap about this controversy piece of nonsense.

I guess I am missing something here. If Obama would pretend to be born in Kenya to boost his memoir sales, why would he not pretend to be born in Kenya if it boosted his chances of admission to Harvard?

Whether this is true or not or even particularly significant are different questions. But I don't see why the scenario itself is beyond belief.
