On the bulletin board, there were two fliers. One was a notice from the homeowners' association: "All residents are part of the Neighborhood Watch program and are encouraged to get to know your neighbors and look out for one another! … There is also a neighborhood watch meeting with Officer Wendy on Thursday, March 29th, 7 p.m."

Silly me.

Save you effort. People have posted all kinds of links about the National Neighborhood Watch Association ... the one that RATL was not a member of.

There are no rules for the RATL. You can't tell me GZ was 'breaking the rules' when there are no rules.

If the rules of his particular chapter didn't mention this, and I don't understand why they would be different from the rest of the country, but even if they were, we're not talking about rules. We're talking about George going out on armed patrols, which makes him look like a paranoid freak.

Do you concede that he went out of patrols, just like his fellow NW partner says? Or is Frank Taaffe lying?

Please answer.

I think you are confusing TM with GZ. TM is the one both the prosecution and the defense agree struck GZ.

Wow, this has gotten silly.

Breaking Bad awaits. Arguing over the meaning of the word "patrol" will have to wait until tomorrow.

First, he actually says that he wears his gun all the time, every time he goes out, except for work. Really? You mean all those times you went on "patrol" for the neighborhood watch, you carried your gun, George? Against the explicit rules of NW? So even if he claims that THIS time, he was just "on his way to Target", what does he answer to the obvious question...

I think FT is a whackadoodle. I don't think GZ went out on patrols. I think he walked his dog. He may or may not have been armed, I don't have any knowledge of his personal carrying habits.

Last post.

Yes, you do!!!

He just said on Hannity: he carries his gun everywhere but work. If he went out on a single patrol, he did so armed. By his own admission!

Have a great night.

??

That's straight from the RATL Newsletter.

Talk about playing word games...

One was a notice from the homeowners' association: "All residents are part of the Neighborhood Watch program and are encouraged to get to know your neighbors and look out for one another! "

The newsletter you posted is to sign up to be a block captain, not to sign up to be a member of the NW. The HOA already decided all residents are members.

It's not 'word games.' People keep making claims about the NW program for the RATL. I am trying to understand what the rules are and who the members were.

So far, I see that every resident is a member, and there is no set of rules that says anything about patrolling or concealed carrying. Nothing you have posted contradicts any of this.

I didn't watch Hannity or read the transcripts. :D

You too.

So, I thought a half hour ago you weren't so sure...

No, I just figured no one was going to just have a discussion and answer the questions I asked without hedging and dodging.

OK, so we have both TheL8Elvis and WildCat, on record, as claiming that GZ did not go on NW patrols. Ever. Period.

Yes. Not sure what you are going to do with that info, but ...

...
Yeah. George put that flyer up not long before he killed the teenager.

You should really review the last 20 or so pages of the 1st doc dump.

Do you find it odd at all that you are implying that walking his dog and going on NW patrols are mutually exclusive?

Well hell ... I patrol all the time too, then, if you simply mean pay attention to what is going on while out and about in my neighborhood.

Is that what patrolling is ? Doing something else but looking out for people acting odd ? But you say patrolling is not allowed ?

I did briefly look for that particular one when i linked to all of the newsletters, etc earlier. Apparently i overlooked it.

Make up your mind!

So now you are backing off your claim that Z never went on NW patrols?
