Scientology abandoned by Hubbard's granddaughter & Miscavige's father

Do you believe the Xenu story, Justinian? If not, why do you believe any of the crap written by the very same man about the same "religion" he invented?

Which letter comes next in this series of letters?

B A C B D C E D F ?

a) C
b) D
c) E
d) F
e) G

I'm still interested in our previous line of discussion, Justinian2. Any examples yet of the harm, that you mentioned, caused by "bullying or nasty criticism" as a component of skepticism or skeptical practice?

I note that behaviors that could accurately be described as bullying or as nasty criticism (aka "bullbaiting") are a component of some of the training programs of Scientology, so I hope you're not planning to argue that all bullying and nasty criticism is necessarily harmful.

Respectfully,
Myriad

It's c) E what's your point? You are full of logical fallacies and subject changes... Finding it hard to defend your points? Can't answer the question about Xenu?

B A C B D C E D F ?

The second letter in each pair is always before the first in the alphabet.
Each successive pair goes up by one.

Looking at every other letter we see the two series: B, C, D, E, F and A, B, C, D

Yes the answer is E. The point is, that once you see the explaination, you know the explaination is correct.

What is your "explaination" for why you believe in Xenu?

The difference is that the bullbaiting is done untill flat. Each insult is continued until flat. It's not usually a real insult either. It's usually something that will make you laugh. It could be something like: "Bet you thought that mustard stain was stylish?". It would be repeated over and over until the guy doesn't smile or flinch.

Bullbaiting is not like a bunch of bullies saying: "You're an idiot", "You're wrong.", "You wasted your life.", "You're a freak", etc. Eventually bullies cause someone to snap. We see it happening in the news all the time.

Boy, bullbaiting is usefull in session. You don't know how many times I wanted to laugh at something the PC said. We are taught to smile when we should, but not to laugh if it would evaluate or invalidate.

So your answer is that you don't believe in Xenu but believe other Scientology dogma invented by the very same person because you've seen the explanations and you just know they are right?

I can see mathematically that my answer was correct. Whether you told me it was or not didn't matter, it was there, provable, for the world to see. How does this relate to Scientology again?

Xenu is a surrogate given to audit instead of the real tyrant or SP.

Think of Xenu as an inkblot.

... if the Emeter needle and other manifestations indicate that the person has an upset that he doesn't wish to discuss.

If you think you can tell that from a galvanometer, then you've passed through to Cuckooland. On the other hand, this "upset" to which you refer exists only in Cuckooland anyway, so you're all set.

No, LRon made up Xenu as if he were real and his actions led to the body thetans that supposedly plague us all. And, of course, you have to pay the "church" a lot of money to get rid of the thetans.

It's well known that people can 'fool' lie detectors and the like. The TRUTH is that a lie detector doesn't even detect lies. Not only that, but the Emeter work best at times and very little at others. During the self-auditing course you learn how to produce the proper conditions for the Emeter to work.

If you don't want to read on a lie detector or emeter, then go for a swim for a long time, lie out in the sun and get sun burnt, get tired, and get dehydrated. I assure you, neither a lie detector or an emeter will read through that.

So LRon was wrong. OK.

How do you determine the rightness or wrongness about the rest of the nonsense he wrote?

I like your assurances on the utility of the tin cans and voltmeter thingy. Do you actually have a non-CO$ reference for this?

LRH sometimes went into the stream of consciousness mode in his lectures. It caused us to think and free associate.

Then there was policy and procedure. Auditors were supposed to know and follow procedure. If the PC didn't have arms and hands, we could have had the PC put his feet on flattened cans. As I don't know the context of your quote, I can only guess as to LRH's intent.

I have disagreed with LRH. Even in disagreement, he always caused me to think and associate.

The Scientology Saint Hill Special Briefing Course is HUGE. It's like studying the Encyclopedia Britanica. When people take the course they see all the data and understand the evolution of the ideas and principles. Your biases would probably prevent you from reading any of it.

How did you disbelievers get the enormous insight to see things and pattern that mere High IQ society people have missed?
Did God give you these tremendous gifts?
Did your mother and father give you some really fantastic advice?
Were you born with an intelligence gene that doesn't show up on standard IQ tests?
Do you think that being with peers that think the way you do makes you right? You know, a majority rules type of thing?

Any true skeptic would give cogent reasons.

How are these ramblings on topic?

What the hell are you talking about. LRon was a conman. He said himself the way to make serious money was to invent a religion. That is exactly what he did. Scientology is a scam. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
