Continuation: Discussion of the George Zimmerman case

Okay, I took it to mean scared and actually remembered him using the term scared. I went back and listened to the third interview, where they break down the nonemergency call, which is where I remembered it being. The exact quote I took that from was: "I was trying to get my flashlight...I didn't want to walk back without light." I remembered him saying scared but apparently I was wrong. Unabogie, if I am listening to the wrong link, I will clarify. I am positive it's not in the second recording. I listened to about 25 minutes remaining in the first recording. I will go back and check that one again.

One interesting thing I picked up in the end of the audio, though. When they are replaying the 911 call, there are three points where the screaming stops abruptly, at 4:31, 4:14, and 4:07 (remaining). Those could be the attempts to cover Zimmerman's mouth. If anyone else can listen and tell me if they hear it too, you can FF to the end to avoid listening to the whole thing. I just can't tell if it's just moments where the cell stops picking up the background audio or if it's a scream actually being stifled.

Right, I'm not sure if he used the word scared, but the context was about being scared and why he ran into the dark at first, as he exited his truck, but then delayed going back because he didnt want to walk there without light. Serino says "that's not fear" or something like that. If anyone wants to type out the whole exchange be my guest. But the context is explaining the 84 seconds where he should have been back at his truck. About how George is scared at some points but fearless at others.

And here are the same markers placed on Google maps. I placed marker #4 by the privacy fence where it should be. But since it should be west of the baseline between the pillars, everything else should shift slightly to the east. In particular, marker #2 should be on the sidewalk and marker #1 right at the edge of the walk. But this will do for now.

ETA: The houses are not aligned N-S so I'll need to add a bit of rotation.

I measure about 38 feet south from the center of the tee to the marker for Trayvon's head.

And if he was six feet tall, his feet would be 44 feet away.

Wow, just wow.
Perhaps you can quote the part of Unabogie's link where Zimmerman says he was scared while at the T? Unabogie doesn't seem to be able to back up his claim, maybe you can ride to his rescue! After all, you seem to think it's self evident, you'll have no trouble at all, right?

I am not typing out the whole thing. I feel if anyone else is that interested, they will listen to the audio.
"That's not fear," was in regards to getting out of the car. In the first audio, one of them asks why, when Trayvon approached the car, George didn't identify himself. George replies at exactly 21:00 (remaining), "I guess fear. I didn't want to confront him." It was a few minutes later that Serino questions him getting out of the car and says, "That's not fear."

I took the flashlight statement as being afraid, as well, because I can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't want to walk back without light.

I also didn't pick up on it, the last few times I've listened to the audio, George actually says that he got out after the dispatcher asks him which direction he is running, and he does. You don't hear the beep of the car door opening until after the dispatcher asked him which direction he is running. I thought I was pro detective, picking up on that but he actually does explain it. I think the difference between the two situations can easily be explained by, when he was in the car, Trayvon was approaching him and staring at him. When he got out of the car, Trayvon is running in the opposite direction, no longer appearing threatening. He said in the third interview, when he got out, he thought Trayvon was long gone.

Ah, so you just made it up.

Glad that is all clear now.

Did you know Larry Silverstein admitted on TV that he ordered the demolition of WTC 7?

(I believe that 39.10 is feet/inches and not a decimal notation with significant digits.)

Has anyone been able to verify this? It's really stupid that what is supposed to be the greatest super power on earth is one of the most backwards in terms of using arcane measurements.

(the only human measure is of course the Smoot)

Yep, it's hard to say but I commented early in the thread that maybe that was when GZ was being muffled. I think that's another case where people kept taking something super literally, as if TM was muffling him for a long period of time, it could have been very brief moments where TM tried to quiet him.

That's the type of thing I'd have expected the police to ask him about in-depth to get him to explain, anyone know if they did?

Looks to me like he said exactly where to find that information. Someone must have misplaced the silver spoon.

Yes, in the last five minutes of the first audio of the 29th interview, they ask him to point out where he is being smothered. They don't seem to hear it but I am not 100% on that because I've picked up on a few untruths in their line of questioning. It's hard to say if they actually don't hear it or if they just don't want to give George any suggestions.

I tend to agree with you on a lot of points but I have quoted what I thought he was referencing and he agreed that it was what he was talking about. You can argue on whether or not he actually meant he was scared but accusing Unabogie of making it up after the quote has already been discussed is dishonest.

ETA I mean that with all due respect.

No. I am curious about the instrument used. I chose this approach because:

- there is no decimal value greater than 12
- there is a decimal value of .10 and no others show signifigant digits

In either instance, the difference is negligible except for the calculation for OM-6h. The rest will be gobbled up by rounding anyway.

I guess one way to tell would be to calculate OM-6h and OM-6f using both methods and comparing the results with what we know about Martin's height.

......This one is looking out the front door and would have seen George's truck if he parked where he said he did on the walkthrough.

ETA: Eh. Just glanced and I don't know if you can make out much of this video......

This seems to be one of several dimly-lit security-cam videos connected with this case posted on YouTube. They are each about 45 minutes long. Could you say what we are supposed to be looking for, and when? And have they been authenticated by somebody reliable? Do we know that they were actually taken at the relevant day and time? I looked at this briefly, and I didn't see a time-stamp.

So you can't find anything in that article about him being scared at the T either, eh?

9/11 truthers do the same thing, claim an article backs up their claims when it clearly doesn't, then when you ask them to quote the part they hem and haw and don't actually quote anything, because they can't quote what doesn't exist.

Truthers are the same, no matter what the flavor.

It's not in the article. Its in the interview. Still refusing to listen?

There are 8 audio links on that page, perhaps you can say which one supports your claim and the time stamp at which this occurs?

Your claim, you support it. That's how it works.
