"Over it are 19"
But why choose 19 and not 23?
For some it is so obvious, for others not so easy to see.
Why hold on so firmly to false and unproven belief?
When after the final decree these are the ones,
who will be begging their lord for some kind of relief.

It is the same to them whether you warn them or not,
most have already made the choice to give up their spot.
And the angels will ask them "Were you not sent a Warner".
"Yes, but on deaf ears, our desires were much stronger."
The Quran describes to us that in it they will neither live nor die,
But that was their choice when they exchanged the truth for a lie.

"Over it are 19" (Quran 74:30)
{26} I will cast him in the Scorching heat.
{27} And what will make you comprehend the Scorching heat?
{28} It does not spare nor leave anything.
{29} A scorcher for humans.
{30} Over it is nineteen.
{31} And We have made the guardians of the Fire to be angels; and We have only made their number a trial for those who have rejected, so that those who were given the Scripture would understand, and those who have faith would be increased in faith, and so that those who have been given the Scripture and the believers do not have doubt, and so that those who have a sickness in their hearts and the rejecters would say: "What did God mean with an example such as this?" It is such that God misguides whom He wishes, and He guides whom He wishes. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him; and it is but a reminder for human beings.

Numerology referencing the number 19 found in the Quran

-The first verse {1:1}, known as "Bismalah," consists of 19 letters.
-The first word "Ism" (Name) occurs 19 times
-The second word "Allah" (God) occurs 2698 times, {19x142}.
-The third word "Al-Rahman" (Most Gracious) 57 times, {19x3}.
-The fourth word "Al-Raheem" (Most Merciful) 114 times, {19x6}.

One more, {Quran 666} or maybe it is {Quran 66:6}.

I found the OP a bit cryptic, to say the least. In my copy of the Qur'an Surah 2 ayas 6 and 7 read:

6As fir those who disbelieve, it makes no difference if you warn them or not; they will not believe. 7God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and their eyes are covered. They will receive great torment. Similar sentiments are found in the Christian scriptures.

as to "19" and all the other numerology, why should any of us see it as anything but crap?

Wait, so God is responsible for my burning in Hell for all eternity? That fink!

for me the meaning is that Allah is a mean monster, first he makes it impossible for me to believe, then he punishes me for not believing. i mean how freaking mean is that?

but whats all that mess with your numbers?

Thanks for all the numbers, MikeB, but they prove nothing. Assume that they are not a coincidence, the persons who compiled Koran could easily have designed the numbers to be so presented in the work, if they were interested in numerology. If they did so, why should we be impressed? And if the compilers of Koran were not interested in it, why should we be?

Among so many self proclaimed philosophers, scholars, illuminators, critical thinkers, and even a few "Master Posters" so few questions and so little critique?

JJM777 even goes so far as to post nonsensical comments such as "numbers prove nothing" and "if the compilers of Koran were not interested in complex numerology, why should we be".

Numbers mean nothing? In what world do you live? What are you typing on right now JJM777, a wooden PC?

Who are these "compilers" that you speak of and why choose 19?
Why make it so difficult. Why not choose 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50 or 100?

Where else do we find similar such work? What text do you speak of with numerology so intricately placed and interwoven? This represents another challenge which has so far withstood the test of time.

Those are all titles automatically given to posters once their post counts exceed certain numbers and have no bearing on the veracity, or the lack there of, of their statements. It also has no bearing on whether their profession are actually philosophers, scholars, or illuminators.

The numbers that you provided are crap. Numerology is a flimflam. Deal with it.

Do you mean the test that shows numerology to be meaningless? If the writers of the Koran were interested in number games, fair enough, but that is all it is, a game. I have no idea what you mean by the use of the word ''challenge''. Could you elucidate a little?

The OP is just nonsense...

Wait - that's 19 letters! God has communicated with me and I'm channeling THE TRUTH! It's now 9:43am and when you add those numbers together it makes 16, and if you add the 3rd digit - which is 3 - to 16, you get 19! Ah, the enlightenment!
