I still believe that world peace can be achieved by believing in Jesus Christ. So if the prophecies of a nuclear World War III occurring on a Wednesday and the 2012 Olympic Games will not be held that the Holy Spirit revealed two months ago (2012-05) fail, I will remain as a Christian and continue to look for the only true Holy Spirit. And I will not forget apologizing to you that the prophecies were wrong. That is, if the prophecies fail. Have you come across the concept of fiction, at all? The creation stories in the bible were made up by people with an imperfect understanding of the world around them, to explain things in terms they understood. They do not reflect reality.

I'm not going to address the glaring contradictions and impossibilities in Genesis. Just some food for thought: Jesus is much worse than the god of the OT. Think about that.

Assume 7 billion total people, half male.

China has about 1/6 of the world's population, so they'd have about 35 million males left, of any age, along with 350 million females, assuming their casualties are typical.
28% of the Chinese population is under 15 or at least 65, so that leaves just 25 million men and 250 million women of even remotely plausible soldiering age. Not exactly a surplus of people to form this army.

the nicene creed decided that all those sacred texts were not holy enough to be included in the bible. for the sake of their dogma, their own interpretation of the bible, they expunged a lot of your own god teachings. because of that some of his teachings are now lost forever. what you call a holy book is nothing but a compilation of texts made by some priests 2000 years ago. how can you be so sure that the expunged teachings were not containing fundamental keys to the True Belief™?

Not arguing your figures, but I am unsure if PC is claiming a nuke conflagration at the outset or conclusion.

My gut is the outset is claimed, so that little exercise pokes quite the hole in PC's claims.

I just ran a few tests over in the Test subforum pasting from Word in a variety of ways. I used Verdana in Word but was unable to get a font tag in a JREF post. I'm on a PC; maybe Peace is on a Mac and that works differently.
