Examples of Freeman success stories

http://ownvehicle.askmid.com/askmid.aspx

Its insured as well, not very good at the "no contract, I don't consent" route.

PS this is why Rob would say they failed :D

Hmm.
If it isn't insured or MOTd then it cant be taxed.
If it isn't taxed or MOT'd then any insurance would be invalid and not pay out for any claim. Unless it's insured as a vehicle that has been SORNED.
The only insurance that could ever pay out would be theft only, as it could never be driven on roads.

Thats not strictly true, if some halfwit hit someone without MOT or tax but had an insurance policy then they should pay for the third party.
No MOT or tax are not a valid reason for an insurance company to refuse to pay out.
Kazz's van was insured , it came back as a covered vehicle on the database.
13. roadworthiness

Most motor policies contain an express requirement that the vehicle must be maintained in a roadworthy state. If so, where there is good evidence that the loss or damage was caused (or substantially contributed to) because the vehicle was unroadworthy, we are likely to consider it fair for the insurer to reject the claim.

In other cases, the insurer might reduce the payout on the basis that the vehicle was not in good condition. If so, where there is good evidence that the vehicle would have failed an MOT test, we are likely to consider it fair for the insurer to take this into account in assessing its value.

EDIT and DELETION:
I misunderstood your post.

Yes. If Freedom-Fighter Kaz was the cause of an accident then the third party would be entiled to a payout from their own insurance co.

A situation which seems likeley to happen due to her "Spiritualness" allowing her to drive a vehicle not fit to be on the road.

But with the close communication lines these days between The Police, DVLA and insurance cos this would backfire on Kaz when the incident was looked into.

Also, her insurance is meaningles should it come to her being the party that caused any accident.
I can only assume the vehicle is insured simply for theft only.

When her insurance company finds out that her vehicle was untaxed and um-MOT;d I'm quite sure they would refuse to pay any claim.
They may try but its not automatic that the insurance is invalid.
They may still pay the third party but not for personal damage or loss.

There is actually a government fund set up for people to claim back funds because of accidents with uninsured drivers.

Just thinking, what about "Glory", "driving Miss Daisy" and "march of the Penguins"? Those are freeman success stories (Morgan Freeman).

Too soon?

Already done?

I've seen this before, complaining about "poor attitudes" seems to be a freeman thing. Why do they think it matters, legally...?

Seen it plenty when I was working retail and helpdesk. It normally means (in summary) someone has told them "No" and not relented when using the magic phrases "I know my rights", "The customer is always right", "I'm going to write to head office\citizens advice\BBB" or "I'm going to sue".

Perusal of places like Planet Feedback or My Three Cents will reveal many stories of entitled grabs for free stuff because of "Poor attitudes" or "Said no, therefore rude".

I think, they think it matters because so many companies regard good customer service as 'Give shouty customer what they want and they will be a good customer' without realising (because they're insulated from the worst of it) that it just makes them shout louder AND tell their friends. Some companies on the other hand don't give a rats behind because they've got a contract to do an unpopular job

Another 'win' in the making here

A guy has been "kidnapped" for speeding, and has been locked up and is being starved as they keep "poisoning" his food.

Here is one Freeman success story that is absolutely true:...

Unfortunately she had a competitor number pinned to her top.
Had she sent that back to the Olympic Committe she would have won without having to turn up.
She.... contracted with them though.
Also, she clearly was unaware that the number was actually an account number for a secret Athlete-Bond. Worth millions don't 'ya know.

The race was started by the firing of a starting pistol.
This is how "they" openly flaunt their tyranny in front of their slaves' eyes.

What a world we live in.

Greg said he wants to keep Robert Menard in the loop as to what is going on. Whatever advice he can offer will be greatly appreciated.

He's doomed.

I'm sure Menard will be able to find some wise words of advice from his Bumper Book of Success.

Meh. He should have had an Oscar nomination (at least) for Glory, but a) he was already nominated for the far more popular Driving Miss Daisy, and b) his co-star Denzel Washington was nominated (and won). So I wouldn't characterize that as a Freeman success story (but it was clearly a Washington success story :p).
