A quarter to three

It's now seven minutes to midnight Central Daylight Time. I'm sitting in my house between two Air Force bases, about one mile from an Army post, and so far no big noises (except for the fireworks shows.)

PC, since you're now recycling information that you've already posted, I predict a rather repetitive two weeks will follow. I got that from my dachshund door stopper. I think he's as good a prophet as your Holy Spirit. He's more than seventy years old and already has made some startling predictions or prescient statements. A sampling:

(1990 Question) In June of 2012, from where will Tiger Woods hole out a chip shot on the 16th?
A: Ruff!

(2012 Question) What will still be covering trees in 2013?
A: Bark!

(1958 Question) What will be Allen Ginsberg's best selling book of poetry.
A: Howl!

(1981 Question) How does Aunt Lorraine like her sex?
A: Ruff!

I disagree. I think that the prophesies will fail, and that the "Holy Spirit" is a fiction.

When He prophesies, the prophecy usually come true. {Emphasis Mine} It is only prevented from happening by the intercession and sacrifice of the listeners.

It's now Thursday on the west coast. Hawaii and Alaska are probably in for a hell of a nasty surprise in the next hour or two, right?

No, the body cannot tolerate radiation above a specific level, even after three days and three nights. Not even after forty days and forty nights.

However, insects have a high level of tolerance, and if you have any cockroaches in your house, they will be feeding on your corpse within a few days of the bomb going off.

Here are the recommended minimum thicknesses of different materials to protect you from deadly gamma rays given off by a nuke:

Steel: 21 cm (0.7 feet)
Rock: 70-100 cm (2-3 ft)
Concrete: 66 cm (2.2 ft)
Wood: 2.6 m (8.8 ft)
Soil: 1 m (3.3 ft)
Ice: 2 m (6.6 ft)

So unless your front door is a mimimum of 8.8 metres thick, then you are going to suffer an early death from the deadly effects of gamma rays. Start digging PC!

PeaceCrusader, your advice about staying indoors for 3 days -- is that part direct from the holy spirit? Or is that your personal suggestion, based on your own understanding of nuclear fallout and how long it lasts?

I saw a bright light in the sky this morning and thought that PeaceCrusader was right, that a thermonuclear war was in progress.

Turned out it was just the sun :o

I know where Vietnam is but what I am wondering is the role that Vietnam will play in the war. The Holy Spirit said that Vietnam will do something to the Philippines. So watch out for Vietnam also.

Really looking forward to the Olymips. Mainly to watch some impressive sporting action, but partly in anticipation of you back-pedalling once WW3 fails to happen.

The arrogance of anyone that pretends to know the future is simply mind-boggling.

My guess of 07-04 is wrong. We still have two Wednesdays, 07-11 and 07-18, to contend with. I give also my views of the matter, but they are guesses like what you posted.

I know that what the Holy Spirit said will happen because He is God. He is omniscient. He gives us time to prepare and come back to Him. Maybe, 06-27 and 07-04 were warnings for us to change our wrong beliefs. If despite the warnings and we don’t change, then that’s it.

To stay indoor and have food for three days and three nights are what the Holy Spirit said. He also said that, if I can remember right, the smoke will last for one year. He also said that there is no place where we can hide without being affected by the war, most likely because the air that the survivors will breathe, the water that they will drink, and the food that they will eat, will be contaminated by radioactive fallout. Our pets, if left outside, will die, most likely because of the inhalation of smoke which is poisonous.

Maybe, after three days and three nights, we can venture outside because the smoke may have started to be driven away and maybe tolerated already by the human body. Also, the corpses have to be buried because of many deaths. That is why the Holy Spirit said that houses, or places where to live, will be given away free.
