Last Thursday, 2012-06-28, passed without the prophesied war happening in the US. Does that mean that the prophecy will not happen? We still have three days to go, 07-04, 07-11, and 07-18. As I said, my choice is 07-04, in the US, because it is its Independence Day and is a public holiday.

If the prophesied nuclear world war does not happen in the next few days and the 2012 Olympic Games proceeds as planned, then I will say that the spirit who we talk to, a holy spirit, who I believe is THE Holy Spirit, is not the true Holy Spirit. However, I will continue my search for the only true God because I know that the true God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He must be a spirit. He must live for eternity, including during the creation of the world.

How about you? If what He says come true, will you believe Him?

I am already old. Someone can pass it on to younger people.
That's progress, we've established a way to falsify belief in your particular holy spirit.

God is more of a challenge. any incorrect prediction can be written off as a bad interpretation or a false prophet. I would just ask you to consider why God didn't pass on any information to mankind before it was already known, the existence of germs, for example.

It's hard to predict exactly what I would believe if these predictions came true. Because the probability I assign to the possibility is very close to zero, I have a hard time putting myself in that situation. Suffice it to say that if I am one of the survivors, I will seriously consider your beliefs.

If you're searching for (as in haven't yet succeeded in finding) "the only true God" how is it that you "know" such a thing exists?

Don't you mean you believe such a thing exists? (And indeed you have this faith despite or even regardless of the evidence.)

There is a tremendous difference between knowing and believing.

How do I ‘know’ that the only true God exists? I know because how can I exist without Him.

This question is for you and the rest: what is the difference between a living person and a dead person? One who is attending a wake and one who is being waked upon? Do you know the difference why you say that you are alive and those in the cemetery are dead?

If the prophecies of the Holy Spirit who we talk to do not materialize, like World War III starting on a Wednesday this year (07-04, 07-11, and 07-18) and the 2012 Olympic Games in London continues as planned, then I will continue my search for the source of my existence. When I find the source, then I will believe in that source. At present, I know that it is the Holy Spirit. He must be omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. If His prophecies do not materialize, then He is not omniscient.

A stitch in time saves nine.

I asked you this 2 pages ago. Would you please respond?

Like my answer to JoeTheJuggler, I will continue searching for the source of my existence. You ask how I will avoid making the same mistake. I have criteria, such as that He must be a spirit who I cannot see or touch, that He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, and that He must live for eternity including during the creation of this world.

1925, 1931, 1937, 1951, 1952, 1963, 2007, 2009, 2011. Years that really mattered.

If it is the same Holy Spirit that also revealed that World War 3 will start, and the Olympics will not take place, and these events do not occur, then you will have, as you have stated, been fooled by a false Holy Spirit

So your "Jesus was born 33 BCE" presumably given to you by the same Holy Spirit is also false information and you will need to withdraw this claim as well. It seems that if your latest prophesy fails, then everything you have ever been told by your "Holy Spirit" is equally invalid. What a waste of a life, spending all that time trying to retrofit events into a timeline revealed to you by a fake!.

Yes, if His prophesied occurrence of World War III on a Wednesday this year and the scheduled 2012 Olympic Games in London do not materialize, then I will say that I have been fooled by a false Holy Spirit. But what will you do if what He prophesied come true and you survive? Will you believe in Him?

Yes, the same Holy Spirit said that Jesus was born on May 23 which I heard and learned from old listeners in 1983. He confirmed May 23 also later in other sessions.

Jesus was born in what we now call as 33 BC. Not 33 BCE. When the Aristean calendar becomes implemented, then 33 BC would become 32 BCJ (Before Crucifixion of Jesus). The year when He was crucified and died is what we now call as 1 BC and will become the zero year in the Aristean calendar.

If His prophecies, like WWIII and the London Olympics, do not come true, I will not totally discard all what He said. I will just pick up what I believe is good and discard what is not. I believe that Jesus was born and the Holy Spirit says May 23, and I proved this to be correct, I will pick this up.

Did you know that even the Devil says good things? Pick up what he says that is good and discard what is evil. Learn to discern the difference. Please read http://aristean.org/sermon006.htm titled “The Pauper in Disguise” in English.

What? You are going to keep what is "good" from a false prophet? How will you be able to tell what is good and what are lies? How can anything good come from a false prophet and a false god?

You are already trying to come up with excuses for why your spirit's/charlatan's prophecies aren't going to come true. It's painfully obvious you are trying to avoid admitting you were following a liar.

And I can clearly see why you are posting this. You are thinking, "Oh, ****, what if this WWIII thing really does not happen, then I will need to take back all that I made up came up with based on his earlier prophecies... Well, let me come up with a way that I don't have to give all of that up..."

What a sad display.

If, as expected, your "holy spirit" turns out to be wholly fraudulent, why should anyone take one of his sermons as anything but pure garbage?

Car 54, Where Are You? "Ooh! Ooh!"

PeaceCrusader,
You do realize that this is same sort of delusional belief that gypsy fortune tellers and pseudo-psychics rely on? "Oh, she was wrong about the murderer and about Obama dying in his first year in office, but she did say "a lottery next month will involve the number 17 and look here, the Mark VI lottery was held on the 17th..." We refer to this as "scoring the hits and throwing out the misses".

So if your Holy Spirit is wrong about the biggest and surest prophesy it has given you, you'll just throw that out as an inconvenient "miss"?

27 Days and Counting Down...

How do I ‘know’ that the only true God exists? I know because how can I exist without Him.

So you know that there's been some scientific investigation of this, right?

Three blind mice

Yeah, right. Didn't you have the same "criteria" with this one? If this prophecy fails, you will need to have better criteria next time. Keep that in mind.

0 - the number of prophecies that came true

What who said? How will you know that everything you heard wasn't purely the one who supposedly channeled "Him"?

How can you distinguish the true God from the false gods? Simple. The true God can prophesy. The false gods cannot. Is that logical?

Not necessarily all that logical, because false gods still might possess enough knowledge of the future to predict and true gods might have a hidden agenda that involves misleading prophesies.

Regardless, as you seem to be asserting that you have a "true god" who can prophesy accurately, what do you offer as surety against this prophesy you're currently relating to us?

In other words: What are you, personally, prepared to relinquish if the Olympics do indeed proceed as scheduled?

60 feet tall

Cue the ''god is testing me'' schtick.
It's like the "god saved me" schtick.

Oh, you must mean the god that set fire to the building, put you in it, didn't show you the way out, trapped you in your room, killed the kids next door, burned 60% of your body and then used 'the miracle of the professional fire-fighters' to rescue you, that just, omniscient, omnipotent god?

Is the Holy Spirit a false prophet? There is something that the Holy Spirit said about prophecies in http://aristean.org/transcript146.htm titled “Purposes of prophecy” (text in Filipino). In English, this is what it says: that nothing is hidden from a listener. It is laid bare before him. He is not prevented from reading the Holy Bible. Instead, he is being pushed so that when the prophecies happen, he will not be dumbfounded, not surprised, not startled, not become afraid or have fears in his heart. He does not like anyone of His listeners to become restless or to have fear. He wants all to be brave in the face of foes.

As He said, even the Devil says something good. Pick up what is good and discard what is evil. Same with what you say that the Holy Spirit is a false prophet and a false god. Do not just discard everything.

I am not making excuses. Someone has asked me what I would do if the prophecies do not come true. And I gave my honest answer. But I know that what He says will happen. He said that the trouble in the Philippines will ignite the trouble for the whole world (1986-06-13). There was even background music. And the music is very appropriate, “Since I don’t have you”. Then He said in the middle of the year. Last month, 2012-05, He said Wednesday and that the 2012 Olympic Games will not be held. Now, it is 06-30. The next Wednesday is 07-04 within the period 06-21 and 07-21. I guess the war that He is saying will be on 07-04 in the US. It is nearer the middle of the year, the 183rd day, which is 07-01. There will be time for LOCOG to decide whether to proceed with the Games or not. Since there will be a war and many countries have withdrawn their participation, the Games will be cancelled.
