I think here's where it's going to get good.
Has the bondsman testified yet?
Has the bondsman testified yet?
Frances Robles@RoblesHerald
frank Taaffe and Robert Zimmerman Jr are seated together at bond hearing.
....
To lose that right entirely, the judge has to evaluate flight risk, danger to witnesses or the public, ability to pay the bond and so forth.....
If I were a judge, the fact that GZ apparently concealed a valid passport (which he lied to obtain) after he was ordered to turn his passport over to the court would weigh more heavily than the money issues.

There's a surprise...NOT!

Apparently Judge Lester takes his oath of office, and the US Constitution more seriously than that...If I were a judge, the fact that GZ apparently concealed a valid passport (which he lied to obtain) after he was ordered to turn his passport over to the court would weigh more heavily than the money issues.

Don't get him started. He spent about a week proclaiming that the passport issue was laughed out of court by the judge, and then he said that there never was an unexpired second passport.
This should be good.
Impossible. They barely know each other. He called him Mr. Taffe on a phone message.

And he did so because he got caught making a mistake about the existence of a second passport. He claimed that George's passport was "expired" (his words) which is false.
But instead of admitting he made a mistake, he tries to shift the context to something about having the passport in jail, and then rants at others in order to avoid admitting a mistake.
We all make mistakes. I have made a few. Most of us have jobs and post sporadically on the thread, and stuff happens. We get things wrong. No shame in that.
Just admit it and move on.
Nope. lololol
Just to clarify my own earlier comments, I meant to comment only that at the time that call took place, it does not sound like they have been much more than acquaintances. It's certainly possible that since then they have become friends, and indeed, considering the fact that GZ became one of the most despised persons on the planet after this happened, it not too hard to imagine GZ feeling grateful for any support he received and considering Frank a good friend for supporting him. That would be GZ, not his brother. And I did present evidence that demonstrated why I thought they were no more than acquaintances. *shrugs*
O'Mara tried to put Z on the stand - with the proviso that he NOT be cross examined.
lol
Judge said uh uh. O takes a moment.
Z DOES NOT testify.
It's going to be interesting to watch the Bond hearing tomorrow, and see ole Tugboat up on the stand again. Now, of course he doesn't HAVE to testify...but when the judge tells him: it's important he testify, that pretty much sets up the dynamic. Yep. It is sure to be an explosive Zimmerific day.
