I received an email this morning from someone who said that they had just seen Sylvia Browne n the "Live! With Kelly" show.
Fortunately, I read the email in time for me to catch the show myself, at 11am our time (Pacific).
Browne looks like she has gained a considerable amount of weight, although some of that may be the big, blousy outfit she wore.
She also seemed a bit less...cocky tha usual. Perhaps the loss of her weekly appearance on The Montel Williams Show has brought her down a peg or three, and she can no longer afford all the attitude she used to exude.
The show, hosted by Kelly Rippa (former co-host/sidekick of Regis Philbin), is a typical daytime talk show.
One prdiction she made which may turn out to be testable at some point:
The show is evidently looking for a co-host. Today's (temporary) co-host was Tyler Perry).
At one point in the show, Rippa asked Browne who her co-host would be, Browne said "you haven't met him yet".
It will be mildly interesting to see who ends up with the job. If it is someone who Rippa has (demonstrably) met before - or if it is a "she" (not a "he"), that might be worth a brief mention on my site.
Most of her appearance on the show - relegated to the final fifteen minutes or so - consisted of her giving readings/answers to some people in thestudio audience, such as (paraphrased from memory):
Woman: Where will my daughters go to school and what will they study?
Browne first got the woman to say that the daughters were of college age (thus sparing Browne the possible embarrassment of naming a preschool or something). Then she answered:
Browne: She wll be going somewhere back East, and she will study journalism, because she is good at...drawing, and things like that.
Man: Will my wife and I have another child? And, if so, will it be a boy,or a girl?
Browne; A boy. A big, fat boy.
...and more of the same.
Today;'s show was the kickoff to "Psychic Week". The only other psychic they mentioned as being n later this week was the woman from the Long Island Medium show.
