Continuation: Discussion of the George Zimmerman case

Hmmm - my bad. I'm sure I read somewhere that it was very cold that night. I guess it was incorrect information. Thanks!

No problem. Some might consider that very cold, but relatively speaking, not in February in Florida.

That's a normal day almost.

The unredacted Capias has no evidence Zimmerman committed a crime and compelling evidence he didn't commit a crime.

You're seriously agreeing that there is any significant amount of conspiracy theory going on in this thread???

This isn't a court room this is the JREF discussion forum.

I, for one, like to hear peoples opinions and ideas, no matter how silly some of you may deem them (the opinions and ideas) to be.

There has been many a crazy turn in this case, I would seriously doubt that is going to stop.

There haven't been many ideas posted here that are crazier than the stunt Z plotted for his previous bond hearing!

If you see someone post something that is factually incorrect, then by all means, quote it, say it is incorrect, and then most importantly post the truth with cites.

Don't just go "oh it's been posted a thousand times before". Most people are not seriously reading a 15,000 post thread in its entirety every day.

Ridiculing people (including calling them conspiracy theorists) for throwing ideas at the wall is exactly opposite to how we should compose ourselves here.

Saying I do not want this to go to CT is different from saying that it is CT. Some of the pestering and bickering is annoying..

It is heartening that the SPD can compose a cogent APC. Clearly, the ASA made the right call here. Florida law prohibits arrest based on the information presented there.

Bull. Do you have anything that hasn't been utterly debunked over and over?

Or have you now moved to claiming that there was no dead body, and no shooter?

I see you are continuing with your strawman marathon. (I'm counting the three in your last post directed my way...)

The Capias has GZ's story of how TM initiated the verbal confrontation and the physical confrontation, and how GZ said he had to shoot him in self-defense. Serino said Zimmerman can be heard in the background of the "911" tape "frantically yelling for help". He also said there are no independent witnesses that can dispute Zimmerman's account of what happened, and the injuries sustained by Zimmerman are "marginally consistent with a life-threatening, violent episode..."

That is, to me, compelling evidence Zimmerman did not commit a crime.

Now, because you say my position has been "utterly debunked", you should be able to show where in the Capias it shows Zimmerman committed a crime.

I guess the SAO limited this release to comply with the media motion concerning the redactions in the first round of discovery. They have until Friday to release the second round.

New background witness statements
The Catagory C statements (witness statements that are not expected to be used)
FBI/FDLE/SAO interviews of witnesses
Zimmerman's call to SAO
Search warrant for telephone records
Crime scene diagrams\sketches\logs
Lee emails
SFD reports/logs
SPD car-to-car messages
SPD report history for The Retreat.

There is no straw man. You posted the exact words I quoted, so hiding behind that made up claim does nothing.

Dead body and shooter, equals evidence (not proof) that 'a crime has been committed', and that satisfies the capias requirements as spelled out in the law and in the court rulings posted here many times.

Your claim of 'no evidence' is patently false, and your attempt to drag in things that the defendant might use *later* in his defense, is irrelevant. That isn't the prosecution's duty at *that* stage of the game.

So now the we have corrected the incorrect statement about the casing being under the victim, how about you answer the other question I asked you ? Then we can work on dispelling that.

If you don't believe the second picture is accurate, please, don't feel like you have only two options. Tell us what position you think they were in when GZ shot TM ?

No. How about that? I am learning to despise your tone, your interrogation style of questioning me, and quite frankly you bore me.

I told you pages ago...not going to play the game you want to play.

Have a nice day.
Oh me on my did you ever tell him off! You despise his tone and he bores you! I'm surprised you didn't tell him he has big ears.

Your offense at being "interrogated" bears a striking resemblance to the umbrage that flimflam artists like to display when asked to prove their magic powers. "Hell no I won't prove them to you, you small minded person!"

I think you believe GZ ran around chasing TM and then shot him while they were standing, and that's why you don't answer the question. But, oh yea, becuase your bored of me is more realistic answer.

Look, I found more 'evidence' like you posted earlier !

The guy forgot to add the red line, but it's just like you thought !

(1) There is no way GZ could pull his gun as described. On his back with his holster against his hip, his holster inside his waistband, while being pinned by TM who is supposedly straddling him....
(5) Finally, the path of the bullet in TM’s body is not possible from the position described , and really is only possible if both men are standing AND GZ’s arm is extended straight.

I found some evidence too! No way he could have pulled his gun!
