• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Simple question for Bigfoot enthusiasts: Why no unambiguous photos/videos?

I had people lie or exaggerate about inconsequential things, act in less than an ethical fashion, yet these same people assured me that they had seen the evidence but not everyone was trustworthy enough to see it.....draw your own conclusions with that one.

That's interesting - I had a similar experience with a Yowie-huckster recently here in Oz. He came across as an intelligent and likeable bloke, has a respectable job, and claimed that one of his friend's had an actual (but secret) photograph of a Yowie. However, this friend has a long and well-documented history of hoaxing (and not only restricted to Yowies) but when I questioned him on it he simply could not bring himself to acknowledge any shenanigans whatsoever...

How can people claim to see Bigfoot in the forest when they cannot even acknowledge the elephant in the room? I suspect that displaying a willingness to turn a blind-eye to shenanigans is a sign of "trustworthiness" in Bigfoot-circles. It's research with a wink and a nod...

Yes, the irony is not lost on me there Parn. Lindsay just grates on my nerves in general because of his attitudes. He has serious issues with women and if you do not agree with him he gets pretty hateful about it IMO.

Yes, that's how I see it, not sure if it was always less than honest motivations or just a bunch of people reinforcing each other's fantasy with wishful thinking.

It's both, with the former preying on the latter.

This could be the solution:
This new project called "The Sasquatch Grill Cam" may be his best invention, yet.

This latest invent looks to be the real deal and could possible produce great results. Paul has tried just about anything he could imagine to capture the elusive animal on tape, and they always seem to be one step ahead of him. Everyone has tried the trail cam thing, but not every has Paul's imaginative and clever design approach. Check out how he crammed a whole trail cam system into a BBQ grill in the video below. The purpose of the Sasquatch Grill Cam is to capture footage of Bigfoot when it comes near his campground. For whatever reason, whether it's for better food source or the attraction to the smell of expensive Chanel perfume, Bigfoot likes to be near people.

It is certainly fortunate that the eternally elusive bigfoot walks right into human camps when the people are sleeping. Does anyone else see a resemblance to Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy?

Tooth Fairy: times crept into human abodes: billions; number of bodies/tissue/DNA obtained: 0
Santa Claus: "" " "
Bigfoot: ?? " "

Well.. now that I think about it. I just "know" that just before we wake up every Easter Morning the Easter Bunny has paid us a visit. It leaves tons of DNA evidence btw.. last year it left alot of small chocolate droppings in the front yard and miniature self images everywhere !

Anyone going to watch the bigfoot movie on Sci-fy next Saturday? It looks about as B grade as you can get since bigfoot is the size of King Kong. Danny Bonaduce is also in it, I assume he is hunting it.......

Which one is it ? My favorite one is (wait for it..)

"Sasquatch Meets the Partridge Family ". Reuben Kinkaid was not happy about the gig and the extra room that had to be dedicated on the Bus for SS but I think the ending was really good ?

I don't think photos would do it. No matter how close up the subject is. Someone will claim it is likely enhanced.

The other thing about this is they never answer any questions ? They become defensive and act like it never happened.

There is a way to prove if the photo is or is not enhanced, and it's very simple, so you'll need to come up with another reason to keep believing.

There were a few on that channel this weekend. Talk about your "bigsploitating"! Who could escape the "Assault of the Sasqatch" ? Well.. other than that kindly law man and his pregnant wife. It was too bad about their home.

But is there a way to actually prove it's real? Someone here claimed they can't trust any photos because of today's technology for making things look realistic.

I realized last week that no amount of close up photos would be enough. At the very least it would have to be video that's even closer than what Roger Patterson got.

That's my thought on it OS, I don't think any photo or video will ever be enough.

Okay, so someone familiar with track casting tell us what the cost of the plaster is and the time involved so we can do a per-hour figure on the Good Doctor's hoaxed tracks.

This plaster comes in a box, right? It can make X number of casts and costs Y so Y/X is the per casting materials cost. He has a form, and it takes a certain amount of time to mix, pour, and retrieve the casting. Then he signs it.

I'm thinking this is over a hundred bucks an hour - in that neighborhood. Not a lot of sales maybe but well worth the time if you have no scruples.

25 pounds of Plaster of Paris at Home Depot - $16.00
Produces approximately 12 casts
Cost per cast = $1.33
Signature - priceless
