The idea that the planes shot missiles half a millisecond before they crashed into the Twin Towers has my vote for most ridiculous claim.
 
actually there were no firefighters in the building (as per FDNY Capt. whose name escapes me atm- they were pulled out at 11am) they had been told not to go in supposedly because of a broken water main -so it definitely wasn't firefighters. Besides no one would call firefighters the impersonal 'it' -we would say, 'pull them out' and LS would have nothing to do with it.
I don't get how ANYONE can look at wtc7 imploding and not see that is a controlled demolition. How could asymmetrical fires cause such a rapid symmetrical collapse? The evidence is overwhelming and more than conclusive: 9-11 = Controlled Demolitions. Sad but true.

Mine too.. but that is disinformation and not part of the large body of well documented facts that prove (beyond any shadow of a doubt that) wtc 1 2 & 7 were brought down with explosives.

Actually in a documentary called Conspiracy Files: 9/11 - The Third Tower (you can find it on YouTube), Chief Daniel Nigro says that he pulled the firefighters away from building 7 (at about the 22:50 mark)

I've always been rather fond of Jim Hoffman's suggestion that a missile battery rose up out of the Pentagon lawn and shot the tail off AA77 just as it hit the Pentagon, so that truthers investigating the crash would note the absence of any impact marks from the tail fin and rudder and be misdirected down the blind alley of Pentagon no-plane theories.

Yes, he really said that; at least, I think it was Hoffman because it's on his site. I can find a reference if you don't believe me.

How do you even know on the day off 9/11, during that conversation, that LS actually spoke the words 'pull it'. For all we know, he could have just been using sexy language for the interview. Regardless, it's irrelevant. There is no point going off down this sidetrack when no one has proven wtc7 was a demolition.

Bald incredulity. We've already established that "it" was referring not to the firefighters, but to the firefighting and related activities.

The EMP collapsed first. The collapse was very, very asymmetrical.

Inability to accept that others may have different opinions than you on an issue is usually a sign of bias.

I'd bet dimes to donuts that Larry Silverstien couldn't give a **** less about the quote. It was over a decade ago, and the only people that are lingering on it are twoofers. I don't know about you, but if the twoofers don't like me I consider it a compliment.

Lol I agree, I was just making a point about how excited truthers get over something so trivial, and how willing they are to distort quotes in order to support their theory.

I'm pretty sure he's gotten over it. Likewise, Flight 93 coroner Wally Miller said things he later regretted. But his regrets are in not realizing how conspiracists would distort and cherry-pick his remarks. I'm sure he's more angry with conspiracists than with himself. Likewise for hundreds of members of the NYFD,

The only things that are trivial to truthers are those things which actually happened. or actually matter.

Massive aircraft impacts = trivial.
Huge fire unfought for 7+ hours = trivial.

1° tilt and 2 seconds of near free fall speed = HUGE.
