Trayvon Martin, Vigilante Justice

This would be my nominee for worst post of the thread. But, I did hold my nose and wade through it, and would like to ask for a citation for this statement:

We now know that Shellie Zimmerman is perfectly willing to conspire and lie with her husband (there goes that credibility thing again)
You gotta be kidding me!

She perjured herself in front of the whole world.

Worse than you suggesting Trayvon Martin was drinking watermelon juice and cough syrup? That's really funny stuff!

But are you really going to ask for a cite that Shellie is willing to conspire with her husband to lie? She did it just last week in hiding their assets from the judge. It was in all the papers. It's why George is sitting in jail right now.

Come on, man. Don't be obtuse.

There's lots about this case that amazes me.

But since they didn't test him, you are just pulling that out of your hat. Was he taking prescription drugs? Other drugs like meth or cocaine? We don't know. He wasn't tested and Shellie moved the truck.
Well, the EMT report said he was taking Tamazapam. We know that.

DRUG CLASS AND MECHANISM: Temazepam is a drug that is used for treating anxiety. It is in the benzodiazepine class of drugs, the same family that includes diazepam (Valium), alprazolam (Xanax)...

True, and I wasn't intending to make an argument from incredulity, although I did.
Let me say, rather, there is still evidence we have not seen, and it seems quite possible that evidence includes documentation of the truck location. There were TV crews filming and photographing, etc, so much opportunity to catch a glimpse, at least, of the vehicle.

But since they didn't test him, you are just pulling that out of your hat. Was he taking prescription drugs? Other drugs like meth or cocaine? We don't know. He wasn't tested and Shellie moved the truck.

It's LEO job to be aware if someone may be intoxicated or on drugs. Expecting them to be able to observe if he was or not is not the smae thing as expecting a random person to be able to tell.

Does it matter what prescriptions he was on ? Is there a prescription that makes him more guilty or less guilty ?

It would show an MO. We can all recognize the wannabe hero if he's all decked out in gear no ordinary person would have. We don't know. Shellie moved the truck.

I suppose. seems far fetched, but possible. His prior calls to NEN where he never detained anyone and waited for LEO seem to be a better indicator of his MO, don't you think ?

That clue could have been obtained by simply looking. I find it hard to believe vehicles aren't searched after gang shootings.

I don't know, but have been told it wasn't legal. Perhaps Cylinder could provide additional context.

Well, how about a citation for that, then this part of your original post:

Shellie Zimmerman is perfectly willing to conspire and lie with her husband

That was my post. Shellie clearly conspired with George. They had hours of phone calls, recorded by the police, discussing their money and extra passport. Then she got on the "stand" and told the judge they had no money. That she did this and that they did it together is so blindingly obvious it pains me to think you can't see it. The judge saw it and sent George to jail. He also asked when charges were coming on the matter.

And I bet they'll be coming for Shellie.

Your quote from the report about running the tags on the vehicle was to gather more information from potential witnesses, and to determine if the teenager may have been driving one of them. At that point he was an unknown to the neighborhood John Doe.

OK - so where did you come up with the quoted part above.

Let me restate it then, since a responding officer was tasked with running plates on both streets, I will infer that the officer was diligent enough to mark the locations of them - especially the one that comes back to Zimmerman. We'll know when we see the evidence maps hopefully on the 29th.

If you haven't, read it. Yes, it's from the perspective of a defense attorney, and someone who isn't privy to all the details. But she appears to make a plausible defense for GZ and SZ. You probably disagree, but it does demonstrate, IMO, that the circumstances of perjury and conspiracy not so obvious and clear as you make them out to be.

There are two reasons why this would be relevant. One, he could have been prescribed a drug over depression or other issues. The fact that he HADN'T taken his meds could explain sudden violence or rage. The underlying issue for which it was prescribed would be informative. Was he on the way to pick up a refill on his anti-depression meds?

Second, some meds can actually CAUSE rage or other strange behavior. They tested Trayvon to see what he had in his system, and when they found small traces of weed, you saw around here how people screamed "reefer madness!"

Well, I'd like to know what George was on that night. It's a shame we won't know because they never tested him and Shellie moved the truck. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe GZ provided blood samples voluntarily and we can't see them for the same reason we can't see his statements?

...
The sentence immediately before the "running tags" part was about asking the officers to canvass the area to look for more witnesses. Der.

Diligent and Sanford PD appears to be an oxymoron.

I'm betting 50 internet dollars we'll see no area "maps" with locations of the vehicles on the street

I did read it, and I do disagree. As soon as we all heard about George's windfall (just after the bond hearing) it was obvious that something was wrong with their claim of indigence. Go back through this thread and you'll see all of us scratching our heads and this sudden turn of events. The fact that they are caught on tape talking about all of their money is just the icing on the cake. This was a gift to the prosecution, plain and simple.

And again, it was enough to send George to jail and to cause the judge to ask when charges were coming. Jeralyn Merritt isn't the font of all knowledge.

Maybe he confessed to killing Trayvon as a Klan initiation rite?

We have the same evidence for both, meaning none.

We know he made statements, even though we can't read them yet.

There is zero evidence he voluntarily gave a blood sample, especially that night, which is when it would have made a difference.

And we take the second page "cut and pasted" copy as accurate over the first because????
Because there is NO OTHER MENTION of that stupid little flashlight being on.

It's obvious as all get-out it was a "flash light on a ring."

My favorite part was when when he called GZ a "potted palm."

There is a reason I have the poster you responded to on ignore.

Page 20 is the report form Officer Ciesla.
"I walked through th~ scene with CST Smith and she pointed out Items of evidence- that were already located."

What I posted is from Officer D. Smith, the LEO who located and photographed the items. She noted the light was on.

I don't know what this cut and paste is all about.
