Here is a really good source for ebooks about science: Download the Universe.

From their About page:
Our mission is to give readers a growing guide to the world of science ebooks. We review books about science that only exist in the digital world--Download the Universe doesn't include reviews of the automatic spin-offs of print books. But we define ebooks broadly. They may be self-published pdf manuscripts. They may be Kindle Singles about science. They can even be apps that have games embedded in them. We hope that we will eventually review new kinds of ebooks that we can't even imagine yet. And we hope that you will find Download the Universe a useful doorway into that future.

Thanks kindly!! I suspect this is an entry of the type several of mine have been where people show up and if interested add the site (like I did) but then do not bother to note that by sending a short response (thus keeping the post up where most people will have a chance to notice it!)!

Things like this do need to be bumped for others ladies and gentlemen. If it is useful to you, please don't just add it for yourself, BUMP IT for everyone else.

The JREF has a noticeably higher than normal views/post rate. I like to attribute this to most people taking the time to consider a topic and only post if they feel they have something useful to add, instead of mouthing off the first thing that trickles into their heads.
 
Thanks for bringing my attention to "Download the Universe". Going through the iBooks catalog is somewhat tedious and littered with pseudoscience, so it's great that there's a resource to go to for reviews and purchase ideas.

Not arguing that point for discussions.. My point is for items that are purely informational like this one . No discussion is needed, but if no one adds a comment every so often the item goes away rather swiftly and no one else who might be interested has a chance to see it - so, whenever I see something like this (that needs no actual discussion) I do bump it. Since I miss things also, I like it when others bump data items.
