The Incredible odds of fulfilled bible prophecy

I didn't think this fiasco of a topic could get any dumber. But I still find it enormously entertaining.

So DOC, how about some proof that a prophecy came true, instead of all the knuckleheaded conjecture you toss about.

Ok, Where did you want this moved to DOC?

So you believe evidence that could effect your eternity is dumb?

I don't know, have you got any? Or, more on topic, do you have evidence of fulfilled bible prophecies?

(I think you mean 'affect', rather than 'effect', by the way.)

Then you don't know if a classroom has 57 people in it then the probability that at least 2 people have the same birthday is 99%.

Cute fact. Now please explain:

1) WTH that has to do with the ridiculous probabilities of Hugh Ross?

2) why you didn't take 56 (hint: that's right too with the accuracy in your answer)

3) how you calculated that probability. (Hint: I can. I guess you can't but just lifted that factoid off some website).

So you believe evidence that could effect your eternity is dumb?

You believe that what you're posting here has eternal consequences? I knew the interweb wuz serious buiznees but I had no idea.:eye-poppi

What are you hoping to achieve with these mindless non sequitur comments?

Did you call that hotel in Tyre yet and ask them if they're on a bare rock in the midst of the sea?

What's your response to the people who have pointed out all the other places that wouldn't exist if your reasoning was valid?

When will you be presenting the calculations underlying this Ross bloke's bare assertions of the incredible odds with which this idiotic thread is supposed to be dealing?

So you believe evidence that could effect your eternity is dumb?
Of course not.
However, what you have presented in this thread is very very very very dumb.

As such, since evidence which effects my eternity isn't dumb,
And we know what you presented IS dumb,
we can conclude that you haven't presented evidence which effects my eternity.

So you believe evidence that could effect your eternity is dumb?
Do you have any evidence for either an eternity or that the bible contains any fulfilled prophecies?

I will tell you in all honesty that I think it's very sad that people spend their lives trying to convince themselves that they'll have a better life in some non-existent "eternity" instead of trying to better the actual life that they have right here on earth. Keep trying to convince yourself that your evidence is real and that it's meaningful, and then find your best evidence that you think may convince others. Because for the vast majority of outsiders, it all looks like utter nonsense, a bunch of stories meant to scare people and disenfranchise others to keep power and control, and with absolutely zero evidence to support their empirical truthfulness.

Then you don't know if a classroom has 57 people in it then the probability that at least 2 people have the same birthday is 99%.

I'm pretty certain you are wrong about this, but how did you come to this result? What kind of math did you use? And what does this have to do with the rest of the thread?
