Merged Jesse Ventura to host new conspiracy theory TV show

I wouldn't trust Ventura to water my lawn.

If Chris Kyle really did punch Ventura's lights out down in Coronado, he should never need to buy a drink with his own money ever again.

ETA: in case anybody missed this:

NSFW - explicit language

Does the show even air anymore?

I haven't seen any new episodes in the last year or so.

You can watch full episodes on TruTV's website, but I haven't seen it on the cable box in a while, and the website doesn't list any new episodes or anything really.

Mr. Kyle has a round of whatever he drinks on me. What a disrespectful used douche discharge Ventura is.

TruTV has a section on their web site devoed to nonsense.

http://blog.trutv.com/conspiracy/

Today's headlines:

Jack The Ripper May Have Been Female

Super Earth Coming To Snatch All Our Bodies

Death Of Coroner Deepens Breitbart Conspiracy

Witness Confirms Second Shooter in RFK Murder

Don't Believe Government PR Attacks

U.S., Australia Prepping For Alien Invasion

et cetera, ad nausea.

You gotta love an organization that cites "online conspiracy theorists" as a source. That's as good as assigning your cat to do market research.

And apparently Dick Clark's death ushers in the End Times too. What's next? "Bigfoot's Fat Fighting Brownie Recipe" or "Learn the Ancient Toltec Hypnosis Secret That Saves You Money at the Gas Pump: What Big Oil Doesn't Want You To Know!"

Yeah, I watched a couple episodes and it looks exactly like, "Crap we Googled and make a washed-up celebrity say on camera." No scholarship, no analysis. I hereby coin the word regurgigoogle.

I'll skip the nonsense. Thanks anyway.

My hat's off to Chris Kyle.

And also to JayUtah:

They were found. Black boxes are always found. Two boxes for each plane.

Where is the skepticism on this forum?

They even found an intact passport of one of the hijackers I heard? Some things are just meant to be found. ;)

Getting back to the original topic (if there is any desire to do so) what do you think would happen if Ventura decided to investigate the JREF?

Certainly there's no end of conspiracist accusations about the JREF, from sTARBABY through Yellow Bamboo to the present. One can well imagine him dragging out any accusation (even from You-know-Who in jail), giving them their fifteen minutes, then following with a cleverly-cut minute or less of reply, edited so as to indicate that the JREF is Hiding Something.

:blackcat:

sTARBABY really wasn't much with JREF. The only connection is Randi himself and there have been a few decades since then (and much exposure of Rawlins tender ego). Yellow bamboo ended once they were actually filmed in daylight against real martial artists.

Not that Ventura ever let facts get in the way.

Actually, I would trust my cat to do market research MORE than online (or offline) conspiracy theorists.

UGH. they renewed it. and today's episode was about 9/11, He is still spouting the same debunked crap he did in his first 9/11 episode.

You could, I suppose, look on the bright side that is that not even the network it airs on takes him seriously.

It isn't the network that's the problem; it's the whackjobs that aren't able to parse the difference between fiction and reality that drive me. It's bad enough the nominal 'history' channels in the States and Canada have morphed into the alien bigfoot Hitler picking channels with the likes of Brad Meltzer fronting programming without stepping off into 'entertainment' apologia.

I'm beginning to think "Network" was actually a documentary ahead of its time and cunningly disguised as fiction
