Obama bribed Reverend Wright to shut up

I find it fascinating that so much of the criticism of Obama is not criticism Obama at all, but rather criticism of his friends or relatives. Or people he once knew. Or people he might possibly once have known.

My gut reaction to every instance of this is that Obama must be doing pretty well, if this is what the other side are reduced to focusing on.

Now, if Corsi had published an article in a major newspaper in which he said he interviewed Obama and Obama said his form was forged do you think Obama would respond?

Yes. Corsi's book appeared on shelves in Barnes and Noble.

The Post isn't a "major newspaper". They report lies and nonsense about the Obamas all the time. Like the "lobster room service" thing about the First Lady.

I bet it's right alongside books about the JFK assasination conspiracy. And Corsi never claimed to have interviewed Obama and that Obama had said such things.

It's the 7th largest newspaper in the US, I certainly think that qualifies as "major", perhaps you think only the top 6 or fewer qualify?
 
Let's just be honest here. Who among us wouldn't accept $150K to keep quiet about Obama until after the election?

Heck, I'd be a steal at $25K.

Heck, what's even more amusing are the people making such a big deal out of ANYTHING Reverend Wright has said.

WildCat, do you have any idea as to why this is such a big deal or do you just feel like interjecting anecdotes here and there?

It's a likely lie told by a nutcase to a conspiracy theorist and known liar.

The fact that you don't treat it with intense skepticism says a lot about you. Even Sword of Truth doesn't want anything to do with this nonsense!

It's as big a deal as anything Pat Robertson has said, and people here sure get their panties in a knot over him.

I'd have to give a damn before intense skepticism comes into play.

Again, my interest is solely the response of the posters here.

But for those who do give a damn, I'm sure Wright will be contacted by news reporters to clarify, perhaps try to get the name of the person who offered the $150K.
