A PF-9 is a small gun as well. You could scratch your head with it, I think. But then you have to clean it thoroughly.

Such a silly thought. Bashing your own head with the murder weapon would leave evidence on the weapon. If the police decided to confiscate the weapon they might find that evidence and it would be inconsistent with the story of having your head bashed on the sidewalk. This idea is instantly debunked because the police have never indicated that there is any inconsistency in GZ's account.

No wonder the police didn't initially investigate this shooting then! It was because they conducted a forensic examination of... the... oh!

Except for the lead homicide detective who wanted to charge him. That's all.

Nancy Grace is an idiot.

It's the witness account I listened to.

Mary cutcher on CNN ?

Police spokesman Sgt. Dave Morgenstern on Thursday issued a statement disputing Cutcher's version of events, calling her statements to WFTV "inconsistent with her sworn testimony to police."

"Actually officers who were canvassing the neighborhood looking for potential witnesses, the evening of the shooting, contacted her and she said she did not want to get in*volved," Morgenstern said.

Cutcher also appeared on CNN after her interview with the Orlando station.

"She did write a statement, for her roommate, and that was only after several attempts by officers who were asking for her information," Morgenstern said, adding that "the information she pro*vided in her sworn state*ments… [was] consis*tent with the information Zimmerman pro*vided."

The heavy downpour could have washed the evidence of flashlight and gun head bashing away. We have to consider all possibilities.

Well, Gilbreath said something in there around the head injury and the shooting was not consistent with the evidence they had. So he apparently thinks they have evidence that GZ's story of those moments in not accurate.

False.

Some news agencies have reported that Sanford's lead investigator, Chris Serino, wanted Zimmerman charged with manslaughter that night but Wolfinger's office put a stop to it. The city of Sanford issued a statement saying that is not true.

The best evidence we have is the testimony of George Zimmerman, and he says the decedent was the primary aggressor in the whole event," Serino told the Sentinel March 16. "Everything I have is adding up to what he says."

As has already been posted and linked numerous times, the lead homicide detective did not want to charge Zimmerman.

Some news agencies have reported that Sanford's lead investigator, Chris Serino, wanted Zimmerman charged with manslaughter that night but Wolfinger's office put a stop to it. The city of Sanford issued a statement saying that is not true.

Police did that night prepare an incident report that lists "manslaughter" as the possible crime being investigated, but in every case in which an officer prepares an incident report, he or she fills in that spot with some crime and statute number to allow the agency to properly report crime statistics to the FBI.

Two weeks ago, during an exclusive interview with the Sentinel, Lee disclosed certain details of the investigation and during that session, attended by Serino and others, Serino said his investigation turned up no reliable evidence that cast doubt on Zimmerman's account – that he had acted in self-defense.

"The best evidence we have is the testimony of George Zimmerman, and he says the decedent was the primary aggressor in the whole event," Serino told the Sentinel March 16. "Everything I have is adding up to what he says."

Prosecutor is asking for a gag order which was denied.

Default open files except for issues concerning security. Today should be the open discovery date for the media, though the judge refused to get involved at this time.

The state hasn't tendered discovery at the request of O'Mara. This keeps the media out for now. O'Mara and the Dep. Prosecutor are both worried about witness statements and discovery. O'Mara contends that public witness statements would have a chilling effect on possible defense witnesses.

Motions to seal evidince will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Judge Lester orders PayPal information given to the state to decide if this money constitutes a change of circumstance in regards to bail. State is asking for a increase in bail.

Yeah. That's a lie. Special prosecutor AC said a capias request HAD been filed.

Yeah. That's a lie. Special prosecutor AC said a capias request HAD been filed.

She's not talking about the first team, imo.

Serino did not file any affidavit requesting charges, imo. SPD did file a report with the DA to see if the DA wanted to prosecute.

Besides, Serino made a statement to the media strongly supporting Zimmerman.

As did the City Manager.

These must be overcome by the prosecution.

I think what we have is a rehashing of the evidence to different conclusions. One by the initial SPD team, and one by the Special Prosecutor.

Two different conclusions by LE probably means acquittal.

If two different detectives look at the evidence and come to opposite conclusions, that's an acquittal.

Link, evidence, something ?
Asked to confirm that the police recommended a manslaughter charge, special prosecutor Angela Corey said: “I don’t know about that, but as far as the process I can tell you that the police went to the state attorney with a capias request, meaning: ‘We’re through with our investigation and here it is for you.’ The state attorney impaneled a grand jury, but before anything else could be done, the governor stepped in and asked us to pick it up in mid-stream.”

A capias is a request for charges to be filed.

Yeah, those are lies, Prosecutor Wolfinger denied them.

Benjamin Crump sent a formal request to the federal agency Monday, saying he believes Wolfinger and police Chief Bill Lee Jr. met Feb. 26 and overruled a homicide investigator's recommendation that George Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter.

Monday afternoon, Wolfinger said there was no meeting and that the letter was based on "outright lies". He also denounced "those spreading … irresponsible rhetoric".

I guess the other tidbit coming out of today's hearing is that Zimmerman will not be allowed by O'Mara to have any internet presence that's not run out of his office and the PayPal money has been placed in personal trust to O'Mara himself.

I'm pretty sure AC is not going to lie about something that can be documented.

Seems that would bite her pretty hard in the ass if she did.

She stated that police went to SA with a capais. That's all. If she lied, it'll come out.
If they did, it'll come out.
