Roommate a TAM X?

I think I could use a roomate. For some reason, I didn't bother getting a room, yet. But, I could get one, if it's needed.

I am male, and I don't smoke. And I'm not terribly picky. But, I don't share beds with other males.

But we're free to bury you under a pile of females? The sacrifices you make for the JREF are breathtaking...

I think Wowbagger is referring to last year, when he and I shared room. I hadn't thought of getting a roommate, so I got a single King Size bed room. I said "Seriously, it's not a problem to me, I sleep like a dead person, and the bed is huge, and we can sleep in opposite directions."

Wowbagger didn't want to, and reacted as if my suggestion was strange (it's a VERY common thing to do over here if space is limited, maybe it's a cultural thing.)

Maybe Wowbagger is a necrophobe. Also, it could have been the unsolicited snuggling.

I am baffled. Last time I saw Wowbagger, he was wearing a sign that said "Please Spoon"

Now that I think about it, he may not have known it was there. He certainly didn't turn around when I affixed it to him.

Which 'over here' do you mean? Certainly not common in the UK (eyebrows were raised when an MP shared a hotel room (not even the bed)). If asked, I would have said the idea was more common in the US, where room sharing, at least, seems to be more common (in the UK, you're normally charged per person, while in the US it's usually per room).

It's common in Sweden.

I saw him wearing the same sign today at NECSS.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds, so if anyone is interested, I also have space available at South Point for anyone that is clean, honest and respects personal space. I'm male, 39, non-smoker.

Great, you could easily fit four people into that.

I need to do the roomie thing but have not booked hotel room yet. I will be staying from Wednesday - Monday.

Good point! If anyone needs a room to share or sharing a room, probably a good idea to tell for how long you have or need a room.

I have this room available:
South Point Hotel Casino and Spa
Arrival Date: July 11, 2012
Departure Date: July 16, 2012
Room Type: Deluxe Queen Mid-Level View

PM me if you need a bed.

Hi, everyone...

Just got a grant to go to TAM this year and will definitely not be able to afford a hotel room on my own. Anyone still need a roomie? I don't smoke, I don't snore, and I don't stink. (Well, I'm sure about the first two, anyway. :) )
