What's a kiddy diddler? I guess I can imagine but I've been wrong about slang-americana like this in the past.

Statistical evidence, no. Just the general knowledge that if ALL Nazis were pedophiles, that would mean the statistical incidence of pedophilia in any population is outrageously high, close to 100%.

I don't think that's true or possible. Lots of people were Nazis, not just the SS officers... Maybe I misunderstood what you said?

A kiddy diddler is a (person?) that prefers to have sex with children. It is a term dismissive of personhood/concern for/any thoughts of good for that it is aimed at.

I'd agree with both points..... however the Daily Mail this is not just some nether-region Neo-Nazi forum, but the biggest newspaper site on the web - so if they congregate at such a site, and that site itself panders to their views, then doesn't that suggest that racism is itself more prevalent than we might like to suppose?

I was just over looking at the MailOnline website and it occurred to me that it's less of a "newspaper site on the web" than a soft porn/gossip site. Wouldn't you agree?

I'm not surprised that it has a large readership, but I question how many of its readers go there for "news."

I think he means neo-Nazis, rather than historical Nazis. Much smaller group (in fact extremely small), and they gravitate together purely by choice. It is possible that this sort of fringe ideological group is particularly attractive to pedophiles, but I still think it unlikely that they are all pedophiles.

Of course, I'm pretty sure the comment to which you replied was less than entirely serious.

Gross and hasty generalization. I've first-hand personal experience that shows me, at least, this is not so. I don't expect my anecdotal evidence to show you anything, other than that I don't buy your argument. Nothing more.

That would be true, if racism were defined only as "noticing differences in skin color, and commenting on those differences."

It's just a hair more complicated than that, and by "hair," I mean one the size of a cable some 1000 ft in diameter.



Sure, there's a big difference. If it's white people making fun of the dumb white hillbillies, that's totally different from white people promoting negative non-white stereotypes. I wonder if that difference is appreciable to anyone else?

So are you saying that it's OK for black people to make those jokes about whites, but it's not OK for whites to make those exact same jokes with the exact same kind of intentions to blacks? I.e. blacks can't be racist that way, they have to meet a higher bar to be considered racist.
