Nevertheless, your comments seem far more liable to aid him in his quest for the disaffected English vote than anything else. The idea that you're haunting this thread to influence such voters is absolutely hilarious.

It means I'll laugh as all "normal" Brits elect a parliament full of Galloway clones just to spite me for being uncomplimentary.

On the bright side, there wouldn't be as much insane legislation being passed as one might think. The Galloway clones might never show up in sufficient numbers to form a quorum.

Plus, the collapse of the UK could then be blamed on me, an American, for forcing Brits to commit national suicide to spite me.

Spinewise, he seems to have no trouble walking upright and, even if he had only one ethical principle that he'd stuck to, he'd be streaks ahead of the competition!

I didn't actually specify a method of delivery for the heroin :)

On the whole, discounting the effects of heroin's illegality, alcohol has a much more damaging effect of society than heroin. For example, amongst a range of dysfunctional behaviors alcohol use contributes to, alcohol users are more likely to be violent and abusive than heroin users. So, yes, maybe I was wrong to equate them.

I'm sure you're aware that the comparison is meaningless without breaking it down into harm per person. Coconuts kill more than sharks, but i'd rather walk under a palm tree than dive into a shark tank. You're also going to have to cite evidence that a person who drinks alcohol is more likely to be violent than a person who uses heroin (in whatever form).
