Trayvon Martin, Vigilante Justice

Answering a question with a question dodge. I see that all you want to do is play word games and dance around the point so I'll leave you to enjoy the waltz.
You asked a very leading question, and now you run away and pretend you didn't?

Whatever happened in this case, I'm certain that Zimmerman wasn't cruising for suspicious persons in his truck, saw Martin and, gun in hand, went tearing after him with the intent to shoot him dead for the crime of being a black person wearing a hoodie and carrying skittles.

Quote from TheL8Elvis:

This certainly does not indicated to the dispatcher that GZ intended to follow. It was very common when someone called me at 911 that the caller wanted to change his or her location with no intent of following a subject. Sometimes they just wanted to move to a well-lit area so the officer could clearly see them, while a subject would be less likely to attack a visible complainant. Sometimes they wanted to move to the entrance of a gated community, which is what GZ and Martin were in, so the officer could find them more quickly. Sometimes they just wanted to move to a place that was well populated so they would feel safer. There are plenty of reasons why a complainant would change location.

George said the victim started to run, just after passing his truck. From the victims standpoint, some creepy guy was staring him down, so he got out of there. Ran around the corner to the walk that goes behind houses. George gets out of his truck and starts to run. But did he run after the victim, or try to cut him off?

Assume George goes down the street instead of chasing after the victim. The victims sees that the creepy guy isn't following and resumes his walk. But then George shows up in front of him. As far as the victim is concerned, George is now a predator. Some creepy guy wants to rob him or worse. Trayvon starts screaming at this point. George panics and shoots.

How could she know that from a phone call? And doesn't that story support Zimmerman's claim that at some point he lost sight of Martin?

No, why would it? Zimmerman approaches Martin, Martin asks why he's following him, Zimmerman asks what Martin is doing there and pushes him. How does she know? It's in that affidavit so we'll find out soon.

We've just learned from the Sanford Police that there is evidently a typo on the first page of the neighborhood watch calls report they provided. The date range of Zimmerman's calls, they say, evidently is 2001-2012, not 2011-2012, which means his 46 calls came over a 10- to 11-year period -- roughly four calls per year -- and not four calls per month as the initial police statistics revealed.

From Unabogie's link.

With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered, authorities have revealed to the Orlando Sentinel.

That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say.

Zimmerman has not spoken publicly about what happened, but that night, Feb. 26, and in later meetings he described and re-enacted for police what he says happened.

In his version of events, he had turned around and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from behind, the two exchanged words then Trayvon punched him in the nose, sending him to the ground, and began beating him.

Zimmerman told police he shot the teenager in self-defense.

But there is an eyewitness ("John") who saw Martin on top of Zimemrman, with Zimmerman screaming for help. Then there is the issue of Zimmerman having a broken nose and a gash on the back of his head, as well as grass stains on the back of his shirt.

So I think your scenario is extremely unlikely.

No, why would it?
Because according to the girl Martin told her he lost Zimmerman, which would be an odd thing to say if they were still within sight of each other.

Zimmerman approaches Martin, Martin asks why he's following him, Zimmerman asks what Martin is doing there and pushes him. How does she know? It's in that affidavit so we'll find out soon.
How does one see a push over a phone call?

"According to the girl, Trayvon says, "I think I lost him" then moments later says, "He is right behind me again. I'm not going to run, I'm going to walk fast." "

Yes, and it also suggests Zimmerman followed him directly, rather than heading him off, but either way it's not goign to cause Martin to think, "Phew! That proves he is following me, after all. Everything must be OK."

Suspension revealed?
ffs, how many different versions of this are there? First it's for being tardy, then "being in an unauthorized area", now for possesing an empty marijuana bag?

At any rate, it's all irrelevant to detemining what happened on the night of Feb. 26.

One could hear a sound that might suggest that. The fact that Martin's phone went dead is also probably indicative of some sort of physical contact.
There's no question there was physical contact. But it's impossible to determine the nature of it (who pushed whom) through a phone call.

If George physically threatened Trayvon, the kid would be justified in hitting him. As far as Trayvon knows, George was a thug out to rob him.

George was just a wannabe, he wasn't a cop. He didn't have the right to detain Trayvon, but he seems to have thought he did.

As for John, why did he wait this long to come out with his story? Is there any evidence that he saw what happened that night?

Not completely irrelevant. If Martin was suspended for some kind of violence, that goes toward the completely speculative theory that he might have instigated a violent confrontation with Zimmerman.
