UFOs over Dallas Ft Worth - Ideas?

Hmm, the way the thing zips by makes me think it's close, and therefore kind of small. On slow-mo it looks rather blurry, so perhaps it's moving fast relative to the camera, too fast to record details. Thus the cigar shape is probably an artifact. A bird, perhaps? (Before the animation started I thought the object of interest would be the saucer-shaped sports facility on the ground, which really would have been freaky.)

I also wouldn't rule out a reflection in the window or the camera lens right away.

I have lived in Dallas for 19 years and worked nights for the vast majority of them. I work outside about half the time and go outside for smoke breaks quite frequently. I always watch the sky as I'm a naked eye enthusiast and would love to sight a UFO that had the appearance of an alien spacecraft. In all those years of skywatching, I have never seen anything that looked like an ET or that I couldn't identify shortly after posting my observation to JREF (see my thread "What did I see" - turned out to be an Iridium flare).

eta - I can't even tell what part of the Metroplex that is, and the only really interesting aspect of the video is that it resembles a "rod" which we all know are insects, but it's moving in the same direction as the plane and is clearly much faster. I'm not aware of any insects that fly at 2-3000 feet and at what I assume is 200 mph.

I'd go with digital artifact rather than what it otherwise looks like - the Silver Surfer.

Yeah, the fact that it's outrunning the plane makes my bird theory kind of dumb, unless the Mythbusters are at it again with their frozen chicken cannon. Given the general blobbiness of the image, I'd say a reflection or other optical artifact is probably a pretty viable theory.

There are 2 objects.

The first object crosses in front of the tall dark skyscrapers at 0:02 seconds.
The second one is in the lower-right corner at 0:05.

Both seem too small to identify.
