Saudi Arabia May Be Tied to 9/11, 2 Ex-Senators Say

You guys say there is nothing wrong with what we were told about 9/11.

Sure you guys will focus on the stupid stuff such as spacebeams, no planes, fake phone calls, nanothermite, etc..

Why not take a critical look at some of the real issues instead of ignoring or poo pooing them?

How about the cover-up of the Saudi involvement and the intelligence failures!!!

(cue beachnut's insults below)

There are 2 threads going on right now where debunkers openly admit that there could be issues with what we were told. That statement is a blatant lie and that's the problem. No issues with lying straight out.

I don't believe everything the government said at all, they were covering asses as much as anyone else in the same situation would do.

I'm just not stupid enough to believe that a government could create something of this magnitude and cover it up. There are so many reasons it's not even funny.

Funny how you say that neither side is being honest, then you post this, showing that you aren't being honest either...

I think this is more of an Interpretation of what (the majority) of us say. I for one have never said there are not problems with the "offical story".

I wish you would actually discuss this in your thread. I even asked you to do this instead of just posting links. I think you will find most of us are open to discussion on this matter.

Yup he just linked to an audio pod cast.

No description what is on it, how long it is, what exactly we are supposed to be listening for, or how it relates to 9/11, just a :

LINK: Debunk this!

Whatever, I can't and won't listen to it here at work. If it is so earth shattering, he can type up something we can review it, and maybe have an adult discussion, in an appropriate thread.

I don't think that will happen. Hell, I know it won't, he called us dishonest, yet completely ignored the fact that his post started with a ridiculous strawman.

I am not even trying to be funny or rude here, but is he an adult?

After 10 years since 911 you want us to 'take a critical look at the -real- issues' ??
We know several commas are out of place, a full stop or two need resiting and the ground is getting torn up with all the truthers moving goalposts....

The 19 mad muslims perpetrated 911, nothing to do with Saudi Arabia or with intelligence failures..

Just bumping this thread to see if shure wants to actually have a real discussion.

My point one. I will not discuss this with a YouTube video. It will not put in the same effort as I will in a discussion.

Well...there were some intelligence failures, but probably not in the way shure is thinking.

Ok, sorry. I shouldn't have lumped everyone at this forum in together.

Personally I never used to look at this site or trust anything that was posted because of the impression that I got.

The impression was that nobody here would even consider the possibility that we were lied to about any aspects of 9/11.

Yes, I now see that "you guys" were right about the conspiracy theories pushed by the truth movement.

The 9/11 truth movement is filled with frauds, liars, kooks and con artists. All the conspiracy theories drowned out the real questions that were being asked right after 9/11.

If there are people here that are taking a look into the real questions, I think that is great.

The reason I post links is because I think it is better than me just saying something.

For instance,

I say Bush covered up the Saudi involvement in 9/11.

What does that mean if I say it? Not much I don't think.

If I post links that prove Bush covered up the Saudi involvement, is that not better than just saying it????

Don't you have your own words? When you let others speak for you you allow them to think for you also.

Well, it is worse than that.

Not only would someone have to listen to it, they'd have to come back here, describe it, and then "debunk it." Why does he believe that anyone should jump through his hoops when he is to lazy to do it himself is beyond me.

Furthermore, how the hell would someone look up the sources they claim to have on a podcast? That might be the single worst way i have ever heard to have a technical discussion.

The podcast consists of conversations with people such as Richard Clarke, Thomas Kean, Mark Rossini, etc..

You can't debunk it. All you can do is insult and ignore it.

Yeah and you are to lazy to draft a post summarizing what "this" is.

You can't debunk that.

furthermore, my post contained no insults (against the podcast), and you have ignored eveything I actually wrote.

The CIA lied about, blocked information, and shielded al-Mihdhar and al-Hazmi from FBI agents and it wasn't because of "the wall."

No one can debunk what you won't post.

Links are OK in sausages, in arguments, not so much.

We are willing to discuss this with you. Why do you think we need to "debunk" it? This implies we are obligated in some way to educate you (when you ask). Do you grasp this distinction?

Which made me say he can't debunk it.

I wanted you guys to listen to the audio and tell me what you think about it.
