Apologies if this hot off the press dire news has been reported in lieu of my post here, but it seems the phallic cake licking pot smoking media person has made a vile tweet quoting the reviled atheist Laurence Krauss.

Halfcentaur, I cannot imagine even the most heinous of theists finding Lawrence Krauss to be vile. The man is just too damned awesome in all things to be considered vile.

Your religious beliefs are part of your character. And people judge that.

What does this have to do with freedom to choose?

One of the tenets of Christian belief is the application of free choice. Rather than judging Miley's choice they should accept it. I was unaware we were meant to judge a performers character when deciding on the value of their music

There are not all that many musicians and performers who would measure fully to Christian values. Seems you can drink, take drugs generally be immoral and no one notices. Be an atheist and it seems you kiss your career goodbye
 
I had a nightmare once about Miley Cyrus blackmailing me that honestly freaked me out a lot. After that I made it a point not to hold it against her and try to like her.

After paying more attention, I've come to believe that she doesn't deserve a lot of the criticisms leveled at her as a person. Now maybe she is going through an 'angsteist' phase, but I'd rather not assume that. Maybe, just maybe, she's coming into the belief honestly after reading some great stuff like the source of that quote. Why take pot shots at her for something as simple as that quote? Why extrapolate so wildly from it?

And maybe, just maybe, I'm going way out of my way to try to like someone who I'm disinclined to like through no fault of her own.

Wait you mean be an atheist musician and kiss your career goodbye? That's all 31 flavors of wrong.

But people do vote with their feet on role models, and being an atheist role model can be hard. But musicians don't have to be role models.

Depends really - if the hydrogen is supernova ejecta or if it was a free formed cloud. Given the high metal content of the sun I'd suggest the hydrogen had been around the block a couple of times

I don't have the numbers handy, but I'd be surprised if we were more than 20% hydrogen by mass.

Water is barely 12% hydrogen by mass, a typical carbohydrate is less than 7% hydrogen, and no lipid could be more than 15%.
