Is Mittens now unstoppable?

Why? How is Romney any better then the rest of them?
He's a liberal progressive. Just not liberal and progressive enough to beat a Kennedy in a Mass. political race; he's missing too many 000000's in his net worth.

Romney wants to fix the economy by tweaking the problem.
Paul wants no interference of the economy from the government.
Santorum and Gingrich want to start a new war with Iran and could care less what happens to the economy.

Some betting sites are predicting a 24% chance of a brokered convention.

Well, today could prove decisive. If Santorum takes both Michigan and Arizona, he will be ahead of Romney in delegates.

Michigan is showing neck and neck.

Arizona polls close in a few minutes.

ABC just called MI for Romney.

ETA: NBC also projects him as the winner.

Thank the sweet FSM and all his holy marinara. May the people of Michigan be graced with an abundance of His Parmeggiano offerings.

I don't think anyone is seriously shocked that Mitt is still in the driver's seat. But he is weakened. How badly did this primary damage him? How quickly will he run back to the middle to try to capture the independants he's alienated? How many of his statements will be used in Obama campaign ads?

He's not dead in the water by any means, but he is going to have to do some fast talking if he hopes to have a chance. I don't think he's up to it, and frankly, I'm glad.

I agree Mitt is weakened, despite how he may try to spin his Michigan win. You have to remember he won his last Michigan primary in 2008 by nine percentage points, and this one by three. No one can argue that that doesn't show significant weakness. It can be argued that if Santorum hadn't put both his feet and other appendages in his mouth the last couple of weeks, it would have been even closer, or even that the winner could have been a different one.

For the upper echelons of the GOP today's results bring only a slight sigh of relief.

Hopefully, very, very slight. :)

Is it even possible for Mr. Santorum to not say stupid things when the microphones are on?

10% of those voting in the republican primary were democrats, if you remove them, Romneys lead increases to double digits.

Romney beat Santorum among Catholics too. A Mormon pulling the Catholic vote out from under a Catholic is kind of a big deal.
