NDP leadership race?

Me neither. I have almost no idea what any of them stand for. Yet the party could potentially be an important part of a coalition government next election. Seems like the sort of thing I usually consider important.

I don't know the candidates and did not sign up in time to vote. ;)

I just hope they pick someone who can think on their feet and has a personality. A sort of anti-Stephan Dion, who, I believe had his heart in the right place but could not explain himself. Whether there is another Jack Layton is the wings I doubt. But time will tell.
 
Nathan Cullen has a plan to stop vote splitting:
He proposes that in Conservative-held ridings, the NDP, Liberals and Greens nominate only one candidate between them. They would have a joint nomination contest and the winning candidate would run under his or her party's banner.

I don't really care for it, it seems too close to a two party system. Better to go straight for proportional representation than to go in this direction.

No he isn't. Do you you know if Harper, or any of his minions, will try try to illegally affect this vote? As long as we are asking over the top questions.

yeah i'm with you generally but for whatever reason people keep rejecting the pr referenda

not just in bc and on- england too fwiu

it's weird

anyways, as a stopgap i'm ok with setting up a strategic voting alliancd like this

that's a point for cullen in my books

any other info?

I guess i'll have to read the platforms eventually, if only to know what to complain about down the road heh...

do they even all have platforms??
