Ignore my above post, I didn't see the update on the David Icke forum that the evidence was "faked" (we knew it anyways, but its nice to have it confirmed by the law firm itself). Read this instead:
I am someone who has observed Menard and the silly "Freeloaders on the land" movement for years...in fact I made some of the first posts in this forum about it. Not trying to sound like a hipster skeptic

D), to the contrary I think its great people are still debunking him here and everywhere else he spreads this poison. I gave up long ago, I just sit back and watch most of the time.
The whole "printed page stating McCann FitzGerald solicitor agrees with FMOTL principles" (
which as the David Icke forum notes, is a total lie) debacle is just yet another example of FMTOL stupidity. The reason why its so incredibly stupid is that at no point has anyone ever claimed that the reason why FMOTL is a myth is because no solicitor agrees with it. Even if the document was real and some solicitor at some law firm believed in Rob's lies, finding some crank solicitor (or lawyer in the US) that supports Freeman mythology doesn't lend it any credence whatsoever,
and no one has ever made the argument that it would. The fact that they trotted out this fake piece of evidence just shows they dont have any real evidence.
Its just like the tax protestors/sovereign citizen nutjobs in the US - I know there are a handful of conspiracy theorist nutjob lawyers who believe in it. If I looked hard enough, I could get a statement from some lawyer on genuine law firm letter head that FMOTL is real too. The fact that I could find a lawyer nutty enough to do that doesn't actually prove anything regarding the merits of FMOTL mythology. It just means that if you look hard enough, you find crazy people in every profession.
We've all been over again, and again, and again how easy it would be to silence all the critics and prove with 100% certainty that FOTL is real. All it takes is 1 court case, from any court, in any jurisdiction, stating that someone cannot be charged or found guilty for any crime due to being exempt from statute law which was upheld on appeal. We know such court opinions exist - for example, there are court opinions stating why certain types of income (IE income clergy earn in some states) are EXEMPT from TAX COLLECTION STATUTES. Thats because there are very limited and rare cases where indeed certain people can be exempt from certain statutory law. It just so happens none of those cases involved freeman mythology because freeman mythology is just that - a myth.
