It's one thing for a media matters to have some anti-semitic words and CPAC to invite white nationals to speak. BTW: What evidence is there beyond some assertions to this article? Daily Caller?

I see claims that they are white nationalists, but tracking it is tedious. The Salon piece is clearly not unbiased, as this part shows:

So should we condemn CPAC for inviting a "pervert" according to the writer? I've read Derbyshire often in the past, and while I disagree with him often on matters of immigration, I've never seen any evidence that he's a pervert. His perversions are also missing from his Wikipedia page.

My read is that the guys in question are anti-illegal immigration, which can often get blurred/slurred by tendentious writers like the one responsible for the Salon piece into racism.

Wow, you found a blog post from some idiots somewhere. I'm impressed. I read the supposed clips and while the bit about repealing women's suffrage to me seems wrong-headed, I don't see it as necessarily sexist. He's a conservative, conservatives know that if women didn't vote this would be a far less liberal country, and he sees that would be good. I don't disagree with the logic at all; I just think it's the price we pay for having universal suffrage.

On the race side, it's mostly, "Oh, he supports The Bell Curve." I've read the book, I think it's basically correct, but I can understand how it makes people uncomfortable. Note that he's quoted as saying:

Groups of Ashkenazi-Jewish ancestry present very high means; groups of East Asian ancestry somewhat lower means; groups of white European-gentile ancestry lower still; and groups of black-African ancestry much lower yet.

So far from being a white supremacist, he's actually a Jewish supremacist or an East Asian supremacist. Horrors!

It's not his agreement with the bell curve but his use of it to justify divisions of people by genetic personality and cognitive differences. While there is some statistical differences (see Pinker's Blank Slate) his use here is clearly racist. The Bell Curve does not justify such claims and Derbyshire plays the useful idiot by being the very straw man that many on the left use to discredit sociobiology.
