We disagree about OWS, let's leave it at that...

And that is your right. However, I don't agree.

OWS doesn't believe in the most fundamental concept of democracy, the consent of the governed. They say they want direct democracy but in reality are no different than al-Qaeda, China or North Korea. Thank goodness that their "world revolution" is nothing but a delusional game of Risk. Meanwhile, real people are being hurt, taken advantage of and lied to.

Where you live now you have the right to disagree, in a OWS world you wouldn't. Read the minutes of the NYC GA and Spokes Council meetings and see what happens to those who don't comply with the hive mind.

The phrase "Occupy Wall Street' has become a rage grenade. Just roll it into any thread and BOOM!

This also works with elevators, circumcision and sometimes breast feeding.

Remember, OWS represents YOU. So whatever their opinion on elevators, circumcision and breast feeding, it's YOUR opinion too.

I'm sorry, but that's probably the least rational thing that's been said in this thread so far. If you want rational debate, perhaps you could start by rationalizing that statement.

Actually it's very rational! We, as citizens, have the right and the opportunity to question authority.

And I'm sure a JREF USA Politics subforum world would mean adhering to authority no matter if the rules are unfair or if thugs are hired to uphold those rules!

That's a euphemism for something, isn't it? Because I didn't see a lot of actual questions being asked in that video.

Oh, the injustice of not being allowed to turn a public park into a health hazard!

When are you going to stop spouting inane idiocy?

When are you going to stop spouting inane idiocy?

Well, Virus, I'm glad you asked that and I'm more than willing to examine the-lack-of-INANE-IDIOCY that you display in your comments....

Shall we?

Mind you, these are all comments YOU (not me) made:

"Occutard caught on camera" - WOW!

"Chris Hedges is a huge massive dildo" - Very Inane-Idiocy-Free of you!

"OWS is a tantrum for rich, spoilt, envious little overgrown children" - Nope! Can't say that there's any type of Inane Idiocy in that statement!

"Check out all the stupid indoctrinated commies." - Hmmm? That's so Not-Inane-Idiocy-Free of you to say such a thing!

"Stupid left-wing radicals" - I see! Disagreeing with Virus means that you are STUPID! I will remember that next time I bring up the whole meaning of life thing!

"Kind of like the Rapture but for people who don't believe in God." Oh HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Brilliant! And once again - Inane-Idicoy-FREE!!!

"Idiotic antics"

"Freakshow"

"Occutards" XMany

"Just another day at Freak City"

"Fleatards" - What is that? Retarded people who are fans of the Red Hot Chili Peppers?

Want me to quote more? I have some time before the Super Bowl starts!

Remember, OWS represents YOU. So whatever their opinion on elevators, circumcision and breast feeding, it's YOUR opinion too.

I'm ok with that. I've long since come to terms with the fact that I'm just as human as anyone. Exclusion and manufactured superiority just don't do it for me.

I'm totally superior to criminals, vandals and people who embrace last century's failed political dogmas. Nothing manufactured about that.

Actually it's very rational! We, as citizens, have the right and the opportunity to question authority.

I imagine that in the US there are many legitimate ways to do that. Including starting your own party, writing an article or legitimate protests. Just like in any other democracy with rule of law. Acting illegally because you think you have the right to do that, when there are many other ways to influence public opinion, is not one of them.
