Questions you would like to ask the 1st responders at the scene of Flight 93 crash

Hello, have lurked here for awhile and just decided to join the forum. Thanks to everyone here for the info they provide and the effort many have put forth to make sure we never forget.


Have been thinking about how I might be able to contribute to the cause and thought this thread was a possible option. I personally know a couple of the 1st responders who arrived at the scene of the Flight 93 crash. Also have access to a couple of their fellow responders as a result of our relationships.


While I have met with these folks and had many of my own questions addressed, was wondering if the members here had any questions which they would like answered by the 1st responders? Would be great if we could come to some type of consensus regarding the type/content of the questions which would provide the most meaningful info as I choose not impose on these folks frequently.


Please feel free to share your thoughts and input.


On a preemptive note and to answer an obvious question, I will only share the names of the 1st responders once I receive their permission to do so. Two of these people are "known" by their national and regional interviews in the media and will probably not have a problem with their names being used in this type of forum. Two others may be hesitant as they are still relatively anonymous in that regard.

Yes, these men and women do know 1st hand about how much their service has meant. This is especially true with regard to the surviving family members of the 40 people who died on Flight 93.

Every year, many of these family members come back to Shanksville and spend time in the community. They know many of the 1st responders on a personal level. The 1st responders have been vocal concerning how much that has meant to them.

Will relay your thoughts when I speak with them again. Please accept my thanks in their stead.

To provide alittle more, they are like most people you would talk to who serve as firemen, policemen, paramedics, etc. Humble people who dont think they did anymore than what their chosen job required. The few I know were uncomfortable with their new celebrity status as the news folks hounded them for stories.


Can share 2 personal anecdotes. One paramedic was so affected by what he experienced on September 11th that he soon gave up his paramedics position with the town and never returned to the line of duty again. Walked away from all his training, certifications, and simply said he could do it anymore.


A second paramedic with another station used his experiences with September 11th to bring about needed changes within his community to enable them to be more prepared for larger scale emergencies. He has written grants and received funding to purchase equipment and implement programs to facilitate larger scale rescue efforts as well as remote/wilderness type rescues. His direct involvement with Flight 93 was the motivation for seeking these improvements to the rescue capabilities of the stations in his community.


I will ask your question again when I meet with the 1st responders as I havent asked anything similar in recent years. It is a good, nonthreatening conversation starter which will lead to other topics.

As twisted as it may seem, there are some who don't buy "the official story". Somehow the Pentagon and in particular, Shanksville, are lost on Conspiracy Theorists in large part due to the fact that they can't blame the NYPD or Silverstein or NYFD

Then; What I would like to ask is; What do they think about the "truther" movement, and those connected to it, that believes that there was no plane that crashed there, that the entire story is made up, and that the first responders (and the rest of the world for that matter) are all involved in a grand conspiracy. Also I would like to know if they`ve ever encountered any "truthers" that has made these accusations face to face.

...and still believe anything posted on any "truther"forum, and everything posted on youtube by any wacko with a working cam and a desent internet connection Double moral is (for the "truthers")evidently much better than "just" having a moral.

Perhaps; but I asked a couple of cops and a fireman that I met in NYC in September, and they all were pretty mad and also actually sad about the twoofers. So I think perhaps that this will affect those that was directly involved in the 4 crashes, and that it will spike their interest, when being accused of such horrendous acts.

First, this is clearly an exploratory thread as indicated in my OP. Depending on the input and interest displayed by members here, I will determine whether this is a project I will definitely pursue. To seek permission from the 1st responders prior to making that determination would be premature and an unnecessary inconvenience on these folks. As previously stated, I choose not to frequently impose on these people regarding their experience on September 11th as they all react differently to having to relive that day.


Second, two of these 1st responders have been videotaped and interviewed by the national media. Those tapes are available and will corroborate their identities should I reach the point of asking them new questions. I will videotape and audio tape any meeting with them so people will be able to verify their identity as well. It wont be me telling my story, it will be the 1st responders telling their stories.


However, I respectfully ask everyone to keep the emphasis of this thread on its intended purpose--to attempt to generate meaningful, useful questions which would help inform those at the forum and others regarding Flight 93. If and when I reach the point where I decide to pursue this idea, then we can spend more time discussing the methodological options which will yield the best results while minimizing the fears of the skeptics. I will gladly solicit your suggestions and those of others once I reach that point.

When I start a thread saying that I have access to 9/11 first responders and am soliciting questions to ask them and will post their responses, then you can (rightfully) ask me to verify.

Hi, NoahFence. I have previously asked this question of the two 1st responders whom I know the best. Neither took any pictures on September 11th.


One was a paramedic who was on duty at the time of the crash and he didnt have a camera with him. Even if he did, doubt he would have even thought to have taken pictures given what he was faced with as the 1st ambulance on the scene.

This sounds like you're soliciting questions and will forward them to these first responders. See the difference?

I think the situation is different for the PA site (or Pentagon) than NYC. I was at the UA93 crash site in "02" and "05" (and I will be there again in about 3 weeks). I have never seen any protesters or anything of that sort. I doubt, (from the people I've talked to) that they know or care about any of this.
