Fonzie (who jumped the shark), Happy Days, and the entrenched Roman and Greek gods are in the past, but Christianity is still very much a part of things. There is a reason for that.Yep, basically the NT jumps the shark after the Crucifixion.

God, I love this thread! Where else can you find hard-hitting Fonzie/Jesus comparisons?
Can I get an AYYYY-men?
Exactly. Two well built ships, fitted with the best of then current technology, and 135 men disappeared. Despite dozens of ships, and later aircraft, searching for them few remains have been found.
I don't want or need to be overwhelmed with evidence, a simple "miracle" that couldn't be performed by anything but a god would do fine. It's back, the book "I Don't Have enough Faith to be an Atheist". Some of you will remember that book as the driving force behind my 2 year evidence thread entitled "Evidence why we know the New Testament Writers told the Truth".
It seems that that thread did not have enough evidence for many of you. But the authors of that book give a reason why God maybe does not overwhelm us with undeniable evidence. This reason is given in the first full paragraph on page 31 from their book.

Actually it can't be cut and pasted from that site. And I haven't made a penny off that book, and I don't know the authors. You trying to make money selling books now? Why don't you simply post the the first full paragraph? Go ahead, overwhelm us with undeniable evidence.
The paragraph says "There's lots of evidence. It's enough to convince anyone willing to believe. But there's no proof, because we're supposed to make the choice ourselves."
Still nonsense.
