UFOs: The Research, the Evidence

This story you keep telling does not match the documents made at the time of the incident. The physical evidence only shows that some people couldn't identify what they were looking at. There is no news there, we know that happens all the time.
You sticking a dodgy story (provenance unknown) onto it and calling it "eye witness account" is typical of the silly dishonest methods of UFOlogy.

What is the exact source of your story?

There is no reason to believe based on your mere proclamations that the D.C. radar/visual intercept never actually happened. There are news reports where the pilot was interviewed, the reports from the radar operators were confirmed, no malfunctions in the radar was found, and at one point I posted a copy of internal correspondence where the pilot's comment on the object's phenomenal speed was mentioned. So what now, more denial or are you going to resort to your colorful mockery .. at least that is somewhat entertaining.

Yes or no, is there objective evidence showing that what was seen was an alien craft? And are you able to describe the process you've applied to eliminate witches or gods as explanations being equally as well supported as that of alien craft?

Never heard of witches or God being tracked on radar and pursued by jets, or appearing as glowing balls of light ... maybe you have?

Never heard of Alien Space Ships being tracked on radar or pursued by jets either. NORAD does track Santa Claus every year, though.

Never heard of an alien craft being tracked on radar and pursued by jets, or appearing as glowing balls of light... maybe you have? Because some objective evidence of that would actually constitute a constructive contribution to this discussion. Otherwise we're left with a non-answer and another dishonest avoidance of the actual question I asked.

Where did I say it didn't happen?

There are news reports where the pilot was interviewed,
Where?
Which newspaper?
What date?
Show me.
the reports from the radar operators were confirmed,
The reports from the radar operators didn't confirm your story.
How could they?
They couldn't see what the pilot claims to have seen.
All the radar operators could (and indeed did) confirm was that they saw some blips on a screen.

no malfunctions in the radar was found,
Anomalous propagation isn't a malfunction.

and at one point I posted a copy of internal correspondence where the pilot's comment on the object's phenomenal speed was mentioned.
You copy pasted an unsupported story from Wikipedia. Don't tell lies.

So what now,
Well I'm hoping you'll actually provide some verification of this story you keep telling, but I've got the whip out so I can flog my dead horse, just in case.

How do you know those UFOs over Washington DC in 1952 were alien spacecraft and not witches or God?

The anecdotal evidence indicates that witches can fly and shape-shift into other forms, and anecdotal evidence indicates that God can do anything.

So what method did you use to rule out those possibilities?

Are you confused? You brought up the -52 Washington D.C. incident yourself. Why do you act as if you haven't heard of it?

Physical evidence isn't all eye witness accounts are used to back up. The D.C. sightings in 1952 involved multiple witnesses and radar tracking. The eye-witness observation of the pilot backed up the radar tracking of an object that no manmade or natural phenomenon can adequately explain to this day. This easily qualifies as "slight evidence" that "suggests" the "possibility" of alien craft. So address the case ... radar/visual pursuit by a USAF F-94 ... during the D.C. sightings in '52.

Sounds like Deatheaters toying with Muggles. Around 50 years ago? Wasn't that the time He Who Used to Not Be Named But Can Be Named Now was first coming into power?

Its amazing how this thread keeps going! Why is everyone still debating this? Ufology has already admitted there is ZERO physical evidence to support his claim that some UFOs are Alien Craft and he has admitted that nothing anyone here says will ever change his mind.

Why, with all the millions of camera phones in use this very moment, are there not any legitimate pictures or video of actual alien craft? Is there not anything of interest in the past 30 years?

Remind me, ufology, did you ever respond to this post about that incident?

However, it was only UFOlogists who claim that they could not have been misinterpretations and radar AP (anomalous propagation) echoes. Scientists from the CAA, Condon, and the Robertson panel (which included an expert on radar - Dr. Luis Alverez, who was in on the ground floor in radar development during the war) all agreed that this was the most likely cause of the incidents. It is only the science of UFOlogy that pretends those explanations don't fit. Can you present an opinion/analysis by a non-UFO proponent (scientist or otherwise) who states that the analysis done by those three groups was wrong and the cause of the Washington DC incident had more to do with some exotic craft/objects than just anomalous conditions?

(Highlight added.)

On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence to show that records pertaining to UFOs have been routinely witheld from the public, including reports that describe craft that are alien to our civilization. A case in point being the D.C. radar visual sighting and intercept by a USAF F-94 in '52. How many more equally good or better reports are there?
DC in '52 is a fail, fu. Nothing witheld there. I am eagerly awaiting the rest of your "plenty of evidence" of the witheld records. Please post it here.

We don't know do we? But we do know for sure that numerous records pertaining to UFOs have been made exempt from FOIA provisions.
Please back up this claim also. Thank you.

DC in '52 is a fail, fu.
It's worse than that.
It turns out that Mr Foo Guy's story wasn't a part of any "records pertaining to UFOs ... routinely witheld from the public" but some undisclosed press interview that isn't backed up by any of the information held within the original documentation released under FoI.

Diring the Washington D.C. sightings in 1952 a USAF F-94 jet interceptor was vectored by radar to a UFO, the pilot saw the UFO, his aircraft was momentarily surrounded by several more, and the UFO he had been pursuing suddenly accellerated out of range at what the pilot described as "phenomenal speed" and dissappeared from the radar scopes at the same time. No manmade or natural object we know of can explain this sighting. Therefore the object that was tracked, intercepted, observed and pursued was alien to our civilization.
Next time you want to tell a story could you please remember to start with "Once upon a time...."? Then I'll know that it's time to arrange the blankets and get comfy before you start. :)

Yes stories about UFOs are quite wonderful actually. They fire the imagination and grab our curiosity. They cause us to reach out and look for explanations and in doing so discover all kinds of interesting things about airplanes and space and history and science. Even if you don't believe in UFOs at all, they still inspire us to look beyond our present constraints and imagine what it's like to live in a universe with other life ... and that can nurture creativity and motivate us to get involved in projects like SETI or astrobiology or write books or make films or learn to build websites or even just participate in forum discussions ... yes indeed ufology is cool and it's open to believers and skeptics alike

They certainly cause you to use your imagination.

Imagination is a wonderful tool. Reality is pretty cool, too. Try it sometime.
