first of all- 'we tell them we are being attacked' so you are an airline pilot then. ...
I have an ATP. I flew in the USAF, we have special rules, look them up.
I have set the transponder to emergency to get ATC attention, to warn them we are turning back to home, engine fire... They were busy talking, I was going to exercise my emergency authority and used the code to get their attention. Using the radio when they are talking, or other crews are talking only messes up all the communication, you have no clue...
I flew the equal to a airline pilot for the USAF in my late 20s. First flew in 73 got my first FAA ticket, flew high performance super-sonic jet trainer in 75, flew heavy jets in 76, flew as the guy in charge even carried passengers in 78.
No need to set hijack code, you tell them. If you can't talk you set the code, if you want attention NOW, you set the code; need some help? Strangle your parrot buddy.
...
perhaps you could tell me about your experiences of being hijacked, I would love to hear them. ...
You would have to be an idiot to hijack a USAF aircraft.
We are trained to tell ATC, if no radio, we set the code. You are a slow learner, and you posted the procedure. Are you having problems with comprehension?
...
the squawk transmits over the transponder, which is telemetry which is not the same frequency as voice. ...
lol, you are funny.
Next time at least give the wiki version. wowzer

You don't waste time doing research.
...
so in a matter of life and death, when every second counts, its still too bad mannered to squawk without asking first, I see....
In a life and death situation where someone runs up and cuts your throat, you might set the code, but I doubt you have time. Go ahead explain how you set the hijack code for being murdered when you are dead. Make my day.
Oh, be sure to say people can't run up and cut throats with small blades when the pilots are facing the front, and the murderer comes up from behind.
What is the code for murder smart guy? Got any clues?
Pilots wear should harnesses and seat belts... try to think about things before you expose your lack of knowlege.

the new pearl harbour revisited, page 177-
the 9/11 commission did acknowledge that sending the code would have been standard procedure, writing, ...
Using DRG is the sure sign you have lost this argument, he is nuts.
Wow, and then you post the fact the pilots use the radio.
BTW, you used the 911 commission, which means you know the planes were "hijacked", by terrorists. You messed up and used a source which you disagree with. Bad form. You cherry-picked your way to ignorance.
...
FAA guidance to controllers on hijack procedures assumed that the aircraft pilot would notify the controller via radio OR by sqawking a transponder code of 7500- the universal code for a hijack in progress.
You debunk yourself when you should be watching basket ball and NFL playoffs, beer, cutting trees, etc; you spew woo, which debunks you.
FAA guidance, pilot calls ATC on radio. , you debunked yourself.
