Examples of Freeman success stories

Following on that Cracked article, on page 2, there's another success story that used some FoTL-type waffle

http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-7-stupidest-alibis-in-history-crime_p2/

#2:

Morkanus and his warrior-maiden Sarah Leroux had also posted a notice proclaiming "When this notice is affixed to property, its contents and all attached thereof is held under claim of right," which also set out ticket prices for visiting "their" land. But the only way you can make people pay to come see your blades is by being a Highlander, and the only way you can make money from blades and a horrifically stupid religion is by being Highlander II.

ETA: And it gets better:

http://www.torontosun.com/2011/07/13/squatting-couple-claims-home-as-their-own

Leroux remains in custody and will undergo an assessment to determine if she's fit to stand trial.

She refused to give her name in court Wednesday out of concern that doing so would form a "contract,"

Police said signs and documents were posted at the house, addressed to "Agents and Officers under Foreign Jurisdiction," stating, "When this notice is affixed to property, its contents and all attached thereof is held under claim of right."

There were also notices about no trespassing, charging fees for entrance and a "Notice to Agents of Government" warning, "Govern Thyself."

ETA2: and for those who wonder why we bother trying to tell idiots that their FoTL waffle is nonsense, well, consider the effect it had on someone else's life, when the above bozos decided to act like jerks:

Faubert’s own bills are mounting. She has missed work and is on the hook for legal fees for backing out of a deal to buy a house in Timmins because her bank won’t allow her to carry two mortgages.

She’s also paying for storage for her belongings, rent on an apartment and doesn’t know if her insurance policy will cover the cleanup costs so the house can be sold or rented.

“I just don’t see why I should have to dig into my pockets any further,” Faubert said.

Sarah Leroux, 22, and John Morkunas, 31, have been charged with mischief.

A claimed success posted on Ickes about a tax issue
http://forum.davidicke.com/showthread.php?t=196669

i love this bit from the last write up in the link
http://freetheplanet.net/articles/169/success-with-the-taxman

After hearing nothing for three weeks, I received a tax return for next year, which I happily refused for cause and sent back without a covering notice. About two weeks later, I took delivery of two letters from yet another department of the monarch’s revenue collectors. The first missive informed me that my STRAWMAN would no longer be receiving tax returns, since he was no longer deemed a ‘taxpayer’. The second was a money order refunding a little under two hundred pounds – a credit to the account I had no idea I was owed, which may well be an unprecedented success in this regard.

Isnt it strange that the money that came back he deemed his, yet any monies owed to the taxman were his strawmans liability. :D

Also note that he went very quiet after his "success". No more mighty tales of FOTL-Waffle beating the system?

....Funny how we never get updates after their first big "win".

I suspect pixels are too sharp for him and he is only allowed crayons now.

HMRC do not let your debts to them disappear just because you mail them some gibberish, of this I can assure.

I'm not paying for electricity that has been lost in transit!

From the same site:
http://freetheplanet.net/articles/143/EBICLCW

Bloke gets an Estimated electric bill and wastes his life sending gibberish demanding they prove he has used that much electricity!

This is why some adults should not be allowed near the internet, or to own pens and spoons.

A cheque made payable to STRAWMAN, to the value of SIX MILLION, EIGHT HUNDRED & NINETY SIX POUNDS STERLING, or an appropriate offer of settlement, must be received at the mailing location below within ten (10) days of the date of this notice.

I would write back to him saying I had paid the strawman the fee schedule and that business was now completed and the strawman had now said the it was the human who owed the money for the electric.
I would also add that the strawman did not want any further contact with his human.

Hi folks,

I was watching a reality cop programm on TV the other night.

They stopped a man who had no insurance or tax and came across as a drunk. When they managed to get him out of the car, he refused to be breathalized and answered all questions put to him with: ''it is in my claim of right.''

He was held for a few hours and then released without charge.

I can't post the video up but if you go to utube and type in:

Driving without Insurance or Tax, refusal to give samples, released without charge!

You'll get the video.

I hate to say it but is this a victory?

P.S.
I be very grateful if another poster could post the video up here. Thanks.

http://captainranty.blogspot.com/

Its the second video down, it doesn't seem to be on youtube anymore

I suspect the guy took a breath test later and it was negative and it turned out he had tax and insurance after all.
Either that or they were powerless because of his freeman status

Welcome to the forum!

Here is the video in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=TWmcZ3l1l0o I didn't check if there were better quality ones, but this is the one I'm seeing being circulated. Also the person in the video is apparently responding in the comments (username MrFond1)

They didn't say why he was released without charge, and as far as I know that isn't remarkable in any way. There's no reason to believe that the fact that he happened to be parroting nonsensical terms he read on the internet at the time of his arrest had any impact whatsoever on that outcome.

My contribution to this thread from the wonderful land of Oz.

So, I work for a Corporate Entity that collects illegal penalties from non-consenting living breathing souls...ie I enforce the payment of government penalties.

While I see a small amount of FMOTL nonsense in my job, there is this one guy that really stands out. I mean he brings the whole box and dice. Contracts, fee schedules, international "law", common "law", consent, trusts, STRAWMAN: Mr, illegal governance, UN charters etc. I mean hook, line, sinker, rod & copy of angling times.

We have received approximately a dozen letters/emails from him over the last 3 or 4 years. Always the same deal, we don't have authority, we're using the "colour of law", though he would reference different "laws" each time which really helped keep it interesting.

So far he's lost his licence, vehicle registration, and had his name and address published online with the rest of the defaulters. None of these tools have had any effect on him, so it was time to take it to the next level.

We rocked up at his place of residence, and even had we not known which number we were looking for, he had made it plainly obvious with a wonderful "notice" on the gate to his driveway. I didn't read it too closely (I had read his previous 12 pieces of correspondence after all) but it was along the lines of trespass and all the laws/statutes that he did choose to consent to.

His cunning attempt to prevent access was easily trumped by our search warrant.

Anyway, we enter the property and make contact with the freeman. He initially denies his identity, because he is really named Idiot of the Family Moron, which is a TRUST we don't have access to (I use capitals to imitate his correspondence). After a few minutes of word-games, we get past the initial nonsense. He does pay attention to the fact our IDs don't include all-caps for our names though, haha.

Once the initial introducts were done, it was on like the Rebels had just exited hyperspace to discover the Death Star shields were still up. Every twist and turn from the Freeloader movement is brought out in a ridiculous attempt to avoid the inevitable. I even learned new stuff, like about the London fire of the 1600s that changed the world's legal system. You couldn't make up comedy this good.

This went on for, I dunno, 20 minutes. The guys I had with me, though not FMOTL knowledgeable like me, knew what we were in for when we issued the warrant, and were destroying the nonsense piece by piece. After the initial confrontation, the Freeloader got really angry and physically removed us from the property. Obviously we let him do so (we're not police officers and are not interested in physically dealing with clients).

We argued a little bit more, where we advised the client of the penalties for disobeying the warrant, and that we'd be back with the cops. After he left us and had a little teary inside, he returned to allow us access to the property. This is what's funny I think. I mean this guy is as committed as anyone I've ever read about, yet even he wasn't sure his nonsense would prevent a police visit.

To cut a long post short, we did not find anything of value (shock horror) because he was freeloading off his partner and the government, but now he has:

No licence
No Rego
Name published on the web
Had to let a bunch of Corporate Entities search his home.

Another victory?

Edit: I am expecting (and can't wait for) the invoice from him adding another ~$240,000 in fees to his current amount of ~$50,000. Good times.

You have much yet to learn, you mean you had not heard of the Cestui Que Vie Act 1666?
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/aep/Cha2/18-19/11/section/I.

Its one of the better ones
If you read the act you must obviously agree that it means that if you have not claimed your trust from the government by the age of 7 then you are legally dead and are just a corporate entity.

There is no possible way the act refers to the distribution of an individuals assests once they have been missing for 7 years.

Haha. I'm not sure that's what he was referring to (we'd moved the conversation elsewhere), but I was introduced to that nonsense by another FMOTL in the last month or so. So much education still before me, rofl.

Next time just tell them you dont consent to their non-consent.

It pretty much stumps them, they cant justify why you can ignore them without stepping on their own ideals.

A freemans authourity for his non-consent comes from him and as such lacks force.
Your ability to ignore his non-consent is the law and is enforced by men with sticks if need be.

PS Whatever you do dont mention the word "law" he will undoubtedly have a totally incorrect definition of what it is.
Just use the word "rules"

...snip...

Isn't it easier to just list the few words he will have a correct definition for such as:

Longer list than I thought. :)
