As for "gravity makes things fall downward," Take water, pour it on top of a solid object, and tell us whether the water will then try to flow to the side or insist on flowing downward because of gravity. If there are alternatives to a falling object other than falling downward through a lot of resistance, the object will take those alternative paths.
Because solids and liquids always behave the same and are therefore good analogies for one another.

You wage a courageous battle over there JamesB :).

He continues:
Debris falling in a building hit by fires, especially asymmetric ones, would topple over to the side if given the slightest opportunity vs forcing a downward path in the face of resistance.
I wish someone could make a computer graphic simulation of how truthers claim they THINK the towers should have collapsed. It would be so ludicrous that they would have to hide in shame. Ask him what would have given it "the slightest opportunity".

The irony of someone who has used the term 'holohoax' up to 50 times, complaining about being called a Holocaust denier, the conventionally accepted term in the English language for someone who denies that the Holocaust happened, as implied by using the term 'holohoax', is truly delicious.

Since

The Holocaust will be, forever a day, what the Jewish people of Europe endured.

The irony of someone, who validates Holocaust lies and fabrications of liars and fabricators by ignoring them, passing judgement on someone who seeks to expose Holocaust lies/liars and fabrications/fabricators is truly boggling.

Anybody have spare irony meter? Back at FM section we are running out of them...

The same idiot as above explaining how David Chandler calculated the fall of the WTC to the millimeter. Since it measures to any scale and accuracy desired I am going to download it this afternoon and solve this whole quantum mechanics and m-theory thing once and for all!

http://www.amazon.com/review/R2684D...AQE0B&cdMsgID=Mx2XNSPI8EVBCJW#Mx2XNSPI8EVBCJW

The image in the video is scaled, at which point simple software (including expansion matrices, real simple linear algebra) can blow up the image for the software to any scale desirable, and the motion of the debris can be analyzed as to speed and acceleration to any degree of accuracy desired.

Someone's been watching too many law enforcement dramas on TV.

I keep track of conspiracy theorists among the mens' rights/anti-feminist crowd. Many of these conspiracy theorists are into PUA (pickup artistry) which they call game. This is what one of those CTers said about how game "works":
http://deansdale.wordpress.com/2011/11/26/does-game-work/

I’ve been reading a lot about game lately and there’s one thing that strikes me: There are dozens, if not hundreds of valid stories out there, everyday guys talking about how game changed their lives for the better. OTOH I’ve never seen a single guy saying he has tried game and it didn’t work*.

Seconded. The only prior use of that phrase here is by a poster named Gold, back in 2004. (Your google may vary)

First comment on the blog was that Keoni Galt whackadoodle...I should maybe book mark this 'un for future larfs...

I recommend any of the mens' rights conspiracy theorist blogs. They have provided me with endless enjoyment.

Keoni Galt on climate change:

Climate change is very real…and global warming by man made causes got nothing to do with it.
We are approaching a solar maximum in 2012. We are also looks to be the beginning of the end of the short, warm periods in between long phases of what we call an “ice age.” When the sun starts to go through it’s cycle of minimums and maximums, the earth is dramatically affected.
What we are seeing right now, is an increase in earthquakes, volcanic activity and unusual weather patterns.
It is all entirely predictable, because it’s a cycle.
In a few more years, we are going to wish we actually could warm the climate via man made activity like carbon emissions.

Unless men have figured out a way to increase Earthquakes and volcanism, or cause the sun to vary it’s output, I don’t really see how men can cause dramatic climate shifts.
There’s an obscure blog called ‘The Extintion Protocol.’ It continually tracks the increased volcanic activity, earthquakes and queer weather phenomena and mass animal die-offs that has been occurring the past few years. Many places for which no earthquakes have occurred in human memory are starting to rumble. Volcanoes thought to have been long extinct are showing signs of coming back to life, and already active volcanoes have been ramping up their activity.
Climate change is happening alright, and the only man responsible for it is the Father up in heaven.

There was another, he probably mispelled or made other mistakes, but it was also from that era. Look up the Terry Schiavo and JFK threads of that time.

Reporting on the activities of Swedens answer to David "the Atomic Boy Scout" Hahn is apparently a death penalty offense in cuckoo-land:

Looks like complete bull____ to me. The chap seems to have been trying the equivalent of experimenting with a chemistry set. The amount of Americium in a smoke alarm is microscopic. Probably the reason it's reported is the new Jewish anti-white policy - he was Nordic, and so obviously must be a white Nazi racist wanting to kill six million Jews like all fascist white racists. Note the 'if convicted, [he] could face fines or up to two years in prison.' Presumably, if convicted, the Guardian could face execution of its owners and editors.

And, to add to the stunning genius of that site, the same thread has this bit of wisdom:

So, Mr. Hanson, who must be an expert, because they quoted him in a news article, says what we've been saying all along: A critical mass doesn't explode.

Well, yeah. Isn't that what they spent all that time on trying to figure out implosions and such? To create a critical mass, um, quickly?
