So you know when I am not logged in I can read your posts, when I am I can't. Since I did read this one I will reply.

Dead eh?

Here is the body of an email I recently received:
Hi Rob,


I hope you are well.

Myself and my colleague, Adrienne Arsenault, are trying to learn as much as we can about the Freeman on the Land movement. We hear that it's really growing, especially in Ontario, and we'd like to do a story about its growth.

I see from your website and YouTube channel that you are traveling around the country giving talks. It seems like the Freeman ideas have a lot of appeal, especially with the huge economic problems the world is facing right now. We'd really like to hear more and we're hoping that you'll teach us.

Can we chat? Are you near Toronto this week or next week? That's where our office is.

Yea sure sounds dead to me. That is why I will be on The National very shortly.

The fact is this is exploding, and just cause you do not see it happening on a handful of forums does not mean people are not talking about it in the cafe's, schools and offices.

If anyone is on Twitter you can ask Adrienne Arsenault directly (I think I will sign up just to do it, I will also give her a long list of questions to ask you during your interview, maybe lance thatcher will come up, you never know)

if its true then you are going to be exposed to a mainstream audience which is the very thing Ive been trying to do since we first crossed swords.

Well done Rob, this is on target to beat your international legal team rubbish. If it's a lie then it trumps that one. If it's the truth then it brings your snake oil sales to wider attention than a court case would. Superb!

And all Rob needs to do is provide that proof that so many of us have requested for so many years...

She unlike the folks here is open to logic and reason. And I have contact information from those who have had success. Plus she will be shown a Birth Certificate where it says 'Revenue Receipt" and "Treasury Use Only".

See her goal, unlike the people here is to understand the perspective, not attack it out of fear.

Any journo who decided to investigate FOTL would soon see there are plenty of documented cases of failure, but not one of success. Rob relies on sophistry, not evidence.

This upcoming interview has to remind you of the times your dear old dad called you out to the wood shed to explain how it is you didn’t meet his expectations.

You have to hope Ms. Louter is more amenable to your idea of “logic and reason” than the old man was.

At least she won’t beat you!

But on the other hand we will have you on tape trying to explain how it is bragging emails from your minions and your tall tales amount to certain proof.

But you don't need to contact anyone else Rob, all you have to do is go drink beer with Ms. Arsenault at the park, wait for a cop to pull up. They'll try and govern you without your consent, and you can just have him check his computer. Even if Adrienne doesn't get a peek at the "Freeman-on-the-land" status flashing across the screen as the "policy officer" pulls up your file, you can still demonstrate unequivocally (exactly as you have claimed in the past) that you can't be governed without your consent.

Uh Rob, any reputable news organization is going to ask you questions like "Do you have any evidence for your claims?" and when you resort to your usual sophistry, will call you on it. But hey the CBC is a government corporation, so I'm sure it's controlled by the law society like everything to make us "slaves" to a complex, interdependent social structure that has been shown to work in practice (though not always as well as it could), unlike the Freeman valley.

Dont forget to show her the letter you have acknowledging that you are a freeman on the land (the one that is safely stored away with your belongings) also you may want to mention the fact that you are shown on the police computer as " freeman on the land, statutory legislation does not apply"
Dont turn up to the shoot empty handed Rob, make sure you have all your paperwork to hand
I'm sure that it will make good TV.
This is your big chance to shut us all up Rob, dont blow it.

Sure. And then I will show her a Birth Certificate with the words REVENUE RECEIPT - TREASURY USE ONLY on it, and she can decide for herself if her eyes are lying to her, or if someone in the government lied.

Do you think it will be a tough sell, to get her to realize that someone in the government either lied or is misinformed and that her own eyes are telling her the truth?? Bearing in mind she is a reporter, is used to the government trying to lie, and has learned to trust her own eyes?

She is a journalist, not a decision maker. She doesn't decide; she reports. This means that she will report that she saw those words. She will report what you say they mean. And she will report what others say they mean. She will then explore the reasons for why you have a unique interpretation. Viewers will decide what they think after hearing both sides.

Be careful what you wish for.
 
Will it be a random Birth Certificate or just one issued in BC before 1982 I wonder...

I've got news for you Rob, she won't be buying.
If she decides to make it happen (I strongly believe it won't ;)) she will simply ask you your opinion and report what you say.
Don't worry though Rob, she will have plenty of questions if she does decide to go along with it you can rest assured about that. :cool:

Will she be able to contact these people and verify independently their stories? Are you planning on letting her borrow this document long enough to verify it's authenticity and meaning of these stamps?
 
Rob, while the government does lie, a good investigative reporter is not going to assume automatically that the government is lying while you are telling the perfect truth. She's going to be skeptical of your claims too. What you claim "REVENUE RECEIPT - TREASURY USE ONLY" on a particular birth certificate (mine for instance doesn't) means is one thing. However, what would really impress the reporter (or for that matter anyone) is the $8 million birth bond (or whatever it's worth) that according to you, I can access and use it to pay for things. A cheque for $8 000 000 from the government to you would be quite convincing. You'd have many people wanting to buy your DVDs then, not just those who are likely to believe that out of everyone on the planet the ex-Dictator of Uganda has chosen them to be trustworthy enough to handle money stolen from the citizens of that country.
