Stealing from the are there any Cuban's thread, I kind of want to know if there are any Russian's on this board and if so I was kind of looking for your opinion about your country.

I hear alot in the media... and lately it hasn't been good. Am I hearing the whole story or what.

It seems to me that if there is a dictator out there that the world condemns... Russia is right there standing behind them (Syria)

For some reason Russia sponsors a TV station called Russian TV (or what ever its called now) that basically pushes ridiculous 9/11 conspiracy theories.

And then I read this story today about Russia blacklisting Americans in response to the US blacklisting certain Russian's. Read the link... watch the link... makes me sick.


Anyway do we have any Russian posters. I want your opinion on your country.

As a proud citizen of Russia, I can honestly tell you that nothing stops me from speaking out against our corrupt leaders, especially that Mafia boss Putin. I've been saying this for years and so far nothing has happened to m

Your definition of "the world" is somewhat selective.

If the US' only military base in the Middle East was in Syria I expect the US would be supporting it, even if Syria were boiling its dissidents alive, just as the US currently supports other dictatorships in the region.
