Australia

Not from that place, I'm afraid, but I do have similar photos I think. I'll post some tomorrow perhaps.

Nannup/Busselton, the first two taken in a moving car with only auto settings. Again, these will resize eventually:

The Black Spur to Eildon is one of my all time favorite drives. Breathtaking.

If we get everything we bid for in our tender, we will have 12 extra offices in WA (and 29 extra overall, to take us to an even 100 offices). It will give me the opportunity to visit Albany, Bunbury, Esperance, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karattha, Broome, Kununurra, Christmas Island and a few others I can't recall. But the area I'm most looking forward to visiting is Thursday Island. Fingers crossed. We'll find out in March.

Western Australia has annexed Thursday Island???

That's gonna piss the Queenslanders off.

ETA: Mind you, it wouldn't surprise me. While we were at Eildon last week I discovered two Sandgroper spies lurking in the Pondage.

Too late. And for that smartarse pharaoh, I do know the difference between the Torres Strait Islands and the Kimberley ;). I have also proposed offices at Weipa, Mt Isa, Whyalla, Broken Hill, Berri and Melton. It's the last one I'm most worried about visiting. :)

The Isa and Broken Hill are both amazing places and I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever time you get to spend there. Melton's OK, as long as you don't run into any Marshians, and frankly I'd put Whyalla at the bottom of that (or just about any) list. Weipa can be . . . interesting.

I only know the demographics of Weipa. Twice the average income of Australia as a whole, "no religion" beating the Mick's and Proddys, only 17% indigenous (low for FNQ), mining runs the town and no gays (okay I made the last one up). Probably very few skeptics, and I don't want to know the average alcohol consumption.

It's actually that last item that earns it my epithet of "interesting".

:)
