Occupy Wall Street better defend its identity

What an Orwelian nightmare would we live in if everyone would report on eachother, exposed personal information on other people because we don't agree with them.

Is that the world you want to live in Gee Mack? You feel proud about yourself doing that?

Maybe the supporters of the occupiers are more fascist than they'd like to admit.

I find myself feeling more and more ill as I agree with a Canadiens fan more and more... :)

BD - Let me ask you a question:

Are you under the impression that everybody who thinks OWS is a monumental waste of time, and that they hurt themselves more often than not, is "extreme right wing"?

Let me ask you two questions:

What are your suggestions for stopping fraud in the finance industry?

Why do you care about how OWS activists spend their time?

1) Actual regulation with teeth and no $$ to politicians.

2) Because they do nothing, and have no end game. I wanted to support them very much, being firmly ensconsed in the 99%. However, their behavior is more akin to children whining rather than adults trying to facilitate change. This has been shown ad naseum, from interrupting themselves in Seattle, to heckling Ron Paul, A SUPPORTER, to admitting they don't want any politicians to back them. It's absurd. They want things different but don't want to actually do what it takes to get that done.

And they know it.

Now, do you suppose you could ask BD to answer the question?

What's your plan for making that happen?

You don't appear to have much contact with news media. Where do you get your information about current affairs?

Composition fallacy.

Why do you care how OWS activists spend their time?

And they know it.

Evidence or is that just bully talk?

Now, do you suppose you could ask BD to answer the question?

Sure, he'll be along in a few minutes.

You're insufferable.

I don't have a plan for making it happen, because I'm not pissing and moaning about it like OWS is. IF I were to make an issue of that, you can rest assured I would have a plan.

OWS interrupted themselves, to the point where they drove supporters away!

My eyeballs.

Because I care about current affairs. They want to make change, that will affect me and my family, right? Shouldn't everybody be upset they can't get anything done?

Educated guess.

Last I heard the movement is doing fine, worldwide, still expanding and forming new alliances, in many countries.

My eyeballs.

That could lead to quite a limited outlook.

The movement seems to be growing and resonating very widely, in the US and globally.

What do you think it should have got done by now, after all this time ;)?

...and getting nothing done.

They've actually told me that they don't want any politicians on their side.

Can you imagine a politician giving a speech using that stupid people's mic? It would be insufferable.

Maybe the supporters of the occupiers are more fascist liberal progressive (socialist-wanting-a-dictator) than they'd like to admit.
