Merged The "official story" meme.

Is that just an artists sketch of what it might have looked like or is it based on intelligence or something?

It was done by and artist working for the London Times and published in November 29, 2001, quite obviously it's a depiction of what Bin Laden's hideout might look like at the time. It then appeared on a political news show called "Meet the Press", December 2, 2001, where Tim Russert, the host, pulled it up, during an interview Donald Rumsfeld.

And because of that, the CTers taken this and spun and weaved it into their usual twisted delusional nonsense as they do with anything and everything.

The point is that it was nonsense that only a public imprinted with James Bond villains would believe.

It was conceived by the government and delivered by a media that knew it was BS.

It doesn't matter its source. It wasn't true but it served its purpose.

It wasn't conceived by the gov't. that's just a total lie.

It wasn't delivered by the media, that's a huge intentional exaggeration.

You only say the source doesn't matter because it was made by an artist for the London Times and you just lied trying to turn it into something evil from the US Gov't.

And none of this or your lying has anything to do with the topic of the thread, but it sure does exemplify the constant dishonesty of 911 CTer tactics.

You're absolutely correct. 9/11 was critical to the neocon intention for Iraq.

Clearly Clayton is just here to spew cult rhetoric and more crap to try derail from the topic at hand. Typical routine whenever CTers are exposed in their dishonesty. Calling them out on this "official story" nonsense, sure has hit a nerve with this one.

The neocons are a cult? Or they don't exist?

Hide and protect the neocons no matter what? Is that your job?

Yea, because your position is SO self-evident that anybody who disagrees must hide and protect the "neocons" as a job, huh?

Here's a thought: maybe you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Maybe it's YOUR job to protect your irrational world view no matter what. Maybe you're employed by the neocons to make conspiracy theorists look like idiots.

Is it just me, or does it seem sometimes that most of these CTers are just Beavis and Butthead type teenagers?

Did you even read my comment?

Iraq had zero to do with 9/11. If there had been some grand conspiracy, you'd think step #1 would have been to have put some Iraqis on the planes?

9/11 is why we invaded Afghanistan. Al Qaeda's attack and the invasion distracted from the neo-cons' stated intent to invade Iraq. WMD was the excuse for invading Iraq.

Really, it was only eight years ago. I'm shocked you've "forgotten."

The neocons are a cult?

It's a term self-assigned to a certain political group.
Then turned into a derogatory aspersion by their political enemies.

Almost exactly like the term "truther".

Hide and protect the neocons no matter what?

Hide? Allow them to reside secretly in my cellar?
Why on earth would anyone want to "hide them"?
It may be difficult for you to comprehend, but conservatives, and even neo-cons, are generally proud to identified with their beliefs.
Just like liberals are generally proud to be identified with theirs.

Adolescents frequently find this concept difficult to grasp.

Now "protect" is a different matter.

I do consider it a part of "my job" (i.e., civic duty) to protect them in a way.

Just exactly like its my duty to protect liberals, libertarians, religious folk, atheists, different races, creeds, genders, etc. etc. etc.

In other words, to protect their right to express their opinions.
A job that even extends to truthers.
And to racists, and misogynists, holocaust deniers, snake oil salesmen, etc.

And even to CEOs, politicians and lawyers.

(As distasteful as any of the above may be at the time.)

Nobody, in any category, gets protection "no matter what".

And they are all subject to the same rules.
I'll defend anyone's right to say anything that they want. No matter how right, wrong, idiotic, stupid, hateful, etc. And the right of others to contradict them, point fingers & laugh, etc.
Hurt someone else, and you'll have to face appropriate consequences.

Is that your job?

IMO, it's everyone's "job". That is, civic duty, to stand up for everyone's rights.
And responsibilities.

Yeah, yeah, kids tend to focus on rights, and tend to ignore responsibilities. An artifact of immaturity.

And you would think that if the US government had planned it all out, they would have remembered to, oh, I don't know, maybe plant some WMD in Iraq for the military to "find" when they got there?

And yet they didn't. But they got the war with Iraq the neocons wanted anyway.

You mean the pretense that Iraq had attacked the US on 9/11? Oh, now I see where the connection is!

But the international community knew this wasn't true, and in the absence of actually finding WMD's the support dried up. Fast. Pretty poor planning if you ask me, when actual Iraqis on the planes and real WMDs found would have given the Bush administration the Middle East on a platter.

So, these neocons were smart enough to pull 9-11 off to invade Iraq, fool the vast majority of scientists, engineers, media, and law enforcement around the world, but too stupid to figure out what really would have let them be successful.

no wonder clayton hates neocons; they must be blithering idiots.
